I wouldn't put anything under it, @chrisy. I'd add a light sweater/cardigan/jeans jacket if it's going to be cold where you're going.

I think it wants to be sunny here. I'm making lunch and dinner now, so we can swim and eat and play all day!

The fair isn’t until noon but this kid is so hyper so I think we are going to head out early and walk around the area. There’s an aerial flip demo right at noon and C would love to see it so we will be door busters.

I was up at 6:30. I tried to go back to sleep but MH was either coughing or tossing & turning. H so lovingly shared his cold with us again.
My MIL said his temp was 100 this morning because of course it was. I’m going to try & get as much done as I can before we head over there this afternoon.

My mom found a new place for us to stay!!! So happy, leaving here on Wednesday and staying there for another week  , it looks very cute online, so fingers crossed. I contacted the owner to ask about the tics and she said she has never seen them around the house and she has two kids herself, which makes me trust her (silly I know). |

Morning all!
Sunday shenanigans have begun, the kids have made 1847826 messes already, good thing it’s cleaning day and I guess I have to add mopping to the to-do list.
It’s going to be melting hot today so we’ll be around the yard playing and running through sprinklers. I’ve got to move a plant from one area of my yard to another, big Sunday here in the Vino household.

Sitting at the Toyota dealership while the Prius gets an oil change.
I have a hair appointment this afternoon to take care of my dreadful roots, then Pete and I have a date. Not sure what we're doing yet, but he's thinking wine bar.

Had to make pancakes from scratch this morning. Normally I use a mix. Cadence ate them up, so I guess they were ok.
She was up at 6:45 and immediately started asking for food.
I need to clean today, but Cadence is insisting we go to Party City. I also need to color my roots. Hopefully mh gets home soon.

I want to paint the wooden mantle in living room. It's not in our budget to redo it, I do I really know what I want to do, yet, so I thought this might be the inexpensive liveliness it's looking for.
Does anybody know of an app where you can take a picture of a feature in a room and see what it looks like in different colors? I tried it with the Sherwin Williams Visualize app and it just basically colored everything.
Also what are your thoughts on a painted mantle?
There are 2 wooden beams on the ceiling and a wooden balcony in the room that match the floor, but the mantle is a tad bit lighter wood and it feels very off to me.
I tried to get a picture but with the lighting the wood all looks the same color so it isn't as helpful as I wanted to be.

Morning ladies! Yesterday was something. There was drama (which is pretty much a given with this group) but overall we had a good time. I’m hiding out in the bedroom by myself right now but I need to pee so I’ll be getting up soon. We will head home in a couple hours.

Yes, I did the $20/month because I wasn’t sure if I would like it/stick with it. But next time I’d probably just do the 1 year plan because it’s cheaper per month. |

Just a chill Sunday so far. E and I had our special breakfast date. Then we tried to find raincoats since Hawaii has it in the forecast every day. I can't find one for myself but there are lots for him. We'll hit the mall after nap so hopefully I'll find something

It's gonna be hot hot hot today. I'm still laying around the house. We might play at the splash creek today and pack a little more. Moving sucks.
Our new family show: Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. I used to watch it years ago with my mom. It creeps out the girls a bit but they like it. It's on Prime.

I know this has been asked a million times, but favorite washer and dryer? I want a top loader that don't need a bunch of bells and whistles, but good quality. The dryer we have now sucks and takes forever to actually dry our clothes.

We had an LG top loader and dryer. It's either a 5.2 or a 5.7 cubic foot. I do at least a load a day, and I have been super happy since April.

I went over to a friends this morning to double check her new car seat install. Then we went to a farmers market. After lunch the boys got hair cuts and A left the iPad and tablet lay on the chair.... he's been pissy with me all morning and upset I wont engage his attitude. Now I can tell he feels stupid. My uncle is in from Arkansas so we're doing dinner with him tonight.
