rebeccabunch Ugh - so sorry for the mastitis! I had it with DS1. After getting antibiotics, mine cleared up in about 2 days. I still was tired and needed to take it easy for about 3-4 days. Nursing a lot on the affected side helped.

We’re back home. Vaycay was fun, but travel anywhere with 2 little kids gets exhausting, and I’m soooo happy to be back home with all our stuff.

DS finally slept good again for the first time since getting back from camping a week ago! He went to bed a bit late after swimming but slept from 7:30-6 no wake ups, ate quickly at 6 and went back down until 7:20. Wahoo!

I know I have been MIA but I have been lurking a bit!!
I swear my kid is trying to give herself brain damage. She is learning to pull to stand and keeps trying everywhere. Like in the tub where she then slips and hits her head. Sigh...always seems to be the exact same spot, too!
We are also finally getting teeth! 2 on the bottom and possibly one on top. She's been awake all night the past 3 nights despite tylenol.

I don’t remember it being a super long phase with DD1 so I’m hoping this daredevil stuff ends soon. DD2 heads straight for the stairs every time we leave our sunroom doors open. She is bound and determined to throw herself down the. 😑 good to hear from you again parma986!!

My kid climbed up onto DD’s kid’s rocking chair just now 😳 Like full on stood up on it. Thankfully it was pushed back against the wall so it didn’t rock before DH could grab him off! And earlier today he was walking with his little push walker thing and it got stuck against my dresser. He climbed on top of that too, like fully off the ground (DH was right beside him that time). Kid is going to end up with stitches for sure

parma986 Hey!!! My baby keeps trying to stand in the tub too. I remember DS1 doing the same thing. What we do is say - sit on your bottom please - each time baby tries to stand. Then redirect with toys. If he keeps trying to stand, bath is over (which he hates...he loooves bath time). DS1 caught on to that pretty quickly, and I’ve noticed baby isn’t trying to stand as much. I always forget that babies understand more than we think they do at this age!

cythe the same thing was happening to us with nighttime wake ups. Her stools are still pretty firm but pear juice and water (both by recommendation of pedi) seem to help. Yogurt also seems to help though too much has the opposite effect for us sometimes 😬 thatgirlrachel I think you recommended a probiotic awhile back that helped your LO with this... Wayyyyy late, but I swear by the BioGaia probiotic drops. At 10 months in, I can confidently say they've saved my sanity in giving me a happier baby.
