Lets share some ideas for gifts for our littles who are turning 3 (and those who ready have)!
Family keep asking me what to get for DS and I have no ideas.

I've struggled to figure this out because A already has a bunch of stuff thanks to big siblings. We eventually settled on a My Little Pony play set and my parents are getting her a singing Moana doll (Barbie size).
Other things she's enjoying lately are MagnaTiles (knock off brand PlayMags that are cheaper and just as awesome), and her Little People princess castle (plays music). If she didn't already have a hand me down tricycle we'd probably be getting one for this birthday. She's starting to become more interested in baby dolls.
My twins got pretty interested in Paw Patrol at this age, so that may be an option for some of you.

M is really into action figures right now, so he got Toy Story, Kung Fu Panda, and a few Star Wars figures. They're the most played with gift. We also got him the Melissa and Doug diner which a friend found after Christmas on an amazing clearance deal. That's also getting a lot of play.

E wants a watch. And dragon pj's. I also suggested slippers to my mom (she's looking for those pj's). We needed a new bike helmet but got one from a neighbor. There really is so little he needs. We have a ton of indoor and outdoor toys, all hand-me-downs or gifts.

Oh I do think an art easel would be nice. We could keep it on the porch.

Popping in here because I have no idea what to get E, and her birthday is Friday. All she really plays with are her cars, and she already has 5 billion.

I told someone else slippers. I took her to choose something and she picked a package of sheet masks lol so I really don't have any clue beyond that. I am hesitant to buy toys because I feel like she really doesn't care that much and do we really need more?

kaeguri, it's good to see you popping in here. Does she have tracks for her cars? Perhaps purchase some big trucks that she can load stuff into, or ones to help the little cars around her "city". Puzzles, paint by number, yeti in my spaghetti game (C loves this). Does she like art stuff? Michael's usually has small art crafts on the cheap, I like to stock up on these for rainy days. Like wooden ornaments in the shapes of sharks, butterfly s, dogs, cats, flowers, and they come with 2 to 3 markers and are less than a $1. Foam creations. Have you tried kinetic sand yet?

We got DS a bike, some action figures, new sunglasses, a blow up spray pool, and an explorer kit (binoculars, compass, magnifying glass, etc).
Some things he got from family are a soccer net & ball, some toy trucks/cars, hulk hands, some rainy day art/coloring stuff.

RunsforWineandCarbs, actually she does love crafting and I'm not sure why I forgot that! My aunt bought her some of that foam crafting way back and she loved it. Great idea!

CestLaVie, I wonder if I can convince E to get sheet masks. RunsforWineandCarbs, heeeeeey! MIL got her tracks and a storage truck thing for her Hot Wheels for her birthday. And she doesn't draw or color or do anything artsy. Dislikes the texture of kinetic sand and foam. Doesn't do dress up, doesn't care for stuffed animals, already has a bunch of puzzles. And it's too hot to really get her anything for outdoor play. She's impossible.

kaeguri, hot = water play at our house. something to hook up to the hose that she can run in and out of, wash cars/trucks etc? Have you taken her to a toy store and let her lead the way? See where she goes and what she likes best might work too.

She's not a fan of water that flies everywhere (and hates splash pads all of a sudden), so something stationary might be best. She's like a squirrel in toy stores lol. Just randomly sprints from one shelf to another and tries to pick up everything in sight.

I bought him a few small things. He said he wanted Moana (to go with his Maui doll) so I got him that. My H got him a little toddler boxing set with a pad and two gloves. And I got him a truck that holds 3 or 4 littler cars (that Green Toy brand). I know that my ILs got him THIS BATMAN TRIKE. I think my parent's might get him THIS PLASMA CAR.

I'm glad to see all the Moana fans on here. That's a fav over here too.
I asked a family member to get her a lunch box and bento box because we have to provide her lunch 5 days a week for preschool this fall.
