I do the tiny clear elastics. If you put them in tight enough she shouldn’t be able to pull them out.

ETA: she will learn to leave hair accessories alone if you keep putting them in.

I have a hard time with those because they're such a pain to get out. They work really well at the ends of braids for Josie now.

I think I would be fine watching it during the day, but having to close windows and doors before we go to bed in the dark makes me think of that boy in the cage.

mamabear we did barrettes mostly as well as just training their hair to go to the side. It worked eventually and like 🐢 said eventually they wait trying to pull them out.
