Hi guys. I feel silly asking because I just went through this earlier this year but I can't remember now what it was like after...but for those of you who had a D&C how long did you bleed after?
I had mine on Friday night. Bled Saturday and Sunday. Spotted Monday. Basically nothing at all on Tuesday so went swimming with DD. Yesterday we were out and on our feet all day and then I started bleeding again last night. Today it's about as heavy as a regular period. So I'm 6 days post op now and started bleeding pretty consistently again last night. Normal? Or do I need to put a call in to the doctor?
Thanks!

I had bleeding for about a week afterward with both and it was sporadic like that. I remember if I overdid it, I would have more bleeding v. sitting at home. I wasn't soaking pads, but I was definitely still bleeding.
Maybe a call is warranted to make sure everything is okay. Always better to be on the safe side.

IIRC, I had light bleeding on days 1&2, none on day 3, heavy bleeding on day 4. I called because the bleeding was really heavy when it restarted. They had me come in to exam me to be safe but said it was very normal for bleeding to stop and start. I think I ended up bleeding for about a week total? I think it never hurts to call if you’re worried about something but it does sound normal to me.

Also call if you're passing clots of any kind. I had some small tissue pass, but had some really large clots after one of my procedures. My OB told me to call if I had any concerns, and I'm sure yours said the same.

Thanks caer and oldbaylover1024 . I'm not passing clots and haven't soaked a pad or anything. If it gets any heavier today or if it's still like this in the morning I'll call. I'm thinking it's probably normal but it's the stopping and starting that I was a little unsure about.

I had spotting/bleeding on and off for about 2 weeks. I did go back to work the next day because the school year was just starting. My dr wasn’t worried about the length of my bleeding mat my 2 week check in.

Thanks everyone. The doctor sent me for a us this morning. I gave a rather sizeable hematoma that is likely causing the bleeding. Doctor said I will likely continue to bleed fairly heavily until it breaks up and dissipates. At least I know there is a cause so I'm feeling much better.
