I’m 12 weeks today! I’m still nervous one more week until my doctor appointment and then if all goes well we can finally tell everyone!
I have a Plantar’s wart on the bottom of my foot. It’s been there for months and it hurts so bad! I started putting compound w on it a couple weeks ago which is helping. I didn’t think anything of it because there aren’t any warnings on the box but now I’m questioning if it’s safe. Hoping to talk to my doctor about it. I can’t handle this thing on my foot especially when I get big! 😳

strawberrykiki, talk to your doctor. Maybe you can have it frozen off? I've gotten them twice before and they are a huge PITA to get rid of.

I had a therapy appointment for the first time in 4 weeks yesterday. I spent the whole hour venting about how crappy I feel and how nervous I am about the baby being healthy. I am actually feeling much better about it since, like the experience of 1st tri being shitty is normal, and worries are normal, and the validating helped me get in a better mindset.
I have an appointment next week, which is right after my loss gestation. If it goes well, and the genetic testing comes back normal, we will start to tell people (outside of my immediate family who know).

I'm here. I'm frazzled, stressed, and burnt out. I was in court all morning and just got back to my office where I wolfed down lunch because I have a meeting that starts...oh, right now.
Be back soon I guess.

strawberrykiki Ugh I feel your pain! I got my first plantar’s wart on the heel of my foot almost two years ago and it STILL hasn’t gone away. Since it started really bothering me last summer I’ve tried picking out the seeds with a needle 😳, freezing it at home, using the banana home remedy method a friend of mine swore by as well as a few other home remedies I found on google. Nothing has worked. I made an apt with a dermatologist a few weeks ago but after finding out it’d be over $200 I canceled. I plan to call my primary DR soon to see what it’d cost to do it through them. Hope you can get some relief with the cream if you find it’s safe. If you find something that works let me know!

cch I got mine treated in-office by my primary care doctor. At home every night, I would soak it, scrub with pumice stone, apply the treatment gel, and cover it with those gel-like blister Band Aids. Then every morning I’d peel off the band aid and (TMI) a layer of skin. It took 2.5 months of doing that daily plus two office treatments to get rid of it. I had them as a kid and they ended up spreading all over my feet and taking dozens of office treatments to go away... I did not want to relive that.

I actually worked out today and it felt good. Well, afterwards it did at least lol. I felt like I couldn’t breathe the entire time! My goal is to work out 3x a week which is kind of crazy to me since I was at the gym 6 days a week and running half marathons before getting pregnant but but whatever.

I have two plantar warts on one foot that I got in 2007 and the podiatrist said were corns but the dermatologist two years ago said were warts. I've spent $300 in copays over 2 years, had them frozen every six weeks, lots of pain and difficulty walking after each time, and after it seemed they were gone but nowthey're still there as big as ever. I give up.

I used to get warts when I was a kid. on my wrist and knee I think. Lots of freezing. I had one on my finger in college that was really stubborn, the dermatologist had to cut it out. Nothing since 🤞.

10 weeks and doing okay. The loss of our pup and DS1 having the stomach bug has made this week difficult. I've tried staying busy and it seems to help some.

This is the only one I’ve ever had but it seems to be super stubborn. Hopefully the doc can freeze it and it’ll go away the first time 🤞🏻

sunshiney what a pain! I’m really hoping I don’t have to deal with this stupid wart much longer. Definitely planning to call the DR soon and hopefully it’ll go away with the first freeze. A girl can hope!
