GM. Day 3 of our NC beach trip. It’s been a great time. The weather has been perfect and my kids are behaving well (for the lost part!). I’m going to meet up for coffee w one of my sorority sisters who now lives in this area. I haven’t seen her in person in about 6yrs so am looking forward to it.

Then usual vacation antics, beach, guzzle wine 💁🏻‍♀️

GM! We daytripped to ohilly yesterday to pick up my nieces. It took all day but it was fun.
They're here with us for the week so I'll try ny hardest to read and check in, but they keep us busy!

peachsmama 2!?!? I couldn't stay up that late unless I was drinking and having a good time. I about pass out by 10 every night, maybe 11 if something good is on!

VBS starts today for E. She woke up so excited, jumped out of bed, saying she was late and needed to get dressed, ran in and grabbed her bible school shirt from last year (it still fits) and was easy to get ready. I'm excited to hear about her day, but she has bible school this morning with one set of grandparents, then they are meeting my mom this afternoon (after a long nap hopefully) and goes to another bible school from 6-8. She's normally in the bath by 8, so I'm sure she will be exhausted tonight. And this week.

Cadence has super hero day today at school. Guess who grew out of all her superhero shirts. So, she is wearing a Minnie Mouse dress, a pink cape from the dollar store, and a blue ninja turtle mask from McDonalds. She is pretty sure no one is going to recognize her, but wanted reassurance that no one would know it was a Ninja Turtle mask. It's a piece of blue plastic with no markings on it, pretty sure no one will recognize it as Ninja Turtle.

Morning! H has her first day of dance camp this morning and she is so excited to go! I’m also excited for her to go because I have some errands to run that will be much easier with only 1 kid. Then this evening I have to work for a little while.

B is off st science camp; a couple of his old preschool pals are there so he was excited. (Too bad their parents weren’t more tolerable or I would be more motivated to stay in touch 😂) It seems like it was going to be well-done, though—today was Dinosaurs so they were going to be digging for bones and other related activities.

DH and I had a great dinner last night; gave our sitter a thank you card the kids made with a Visa gift card, (plus her normal pay of course) and I think she was really touched. She asked if she could sit for us when she’s home on breaks...umm, yes! In the meantime she’s going to put us in touch with a friend of hers who babysits.

This morning, Just doing laundry and some last-minute ordering for the kids to get ready for our trip.

Good morning. Our party yesterday was a success even though it rained just as we were serving the food. Busy week here, DS has hockey camp from 8:30-4 everyday then his team practices Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. DD has soccer camp 9-12 everyday then gymnastics 6-9 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.

I did. I'm been doing her ab videos and want to start a 90 day challenge soon so I was on her facebook page.

Morning! Another night of E wanting to be held. I couldn't even move towards the RNP without her getting ticked off. She did fall asleep earlier then the night before so progress?

Nothing planned today. Just more organizing and cleaning. I did get rid of some of the junk toys (like fast food toys, dr treasure chest toys) from our house. For how little they are it took up a lot of room.

I drank too much last night. I was in the pool for several hours so it didn't feel like I drank too much at the time though. Anyway, I'm dragging.

Hiiiii!!! <waves excitedly> I’m back from vacay!! Have I missed any huge news?

Our vacation was amazing. The weather in Cali was perfect and we spent three days at the beach. We also got to spend a lot of time drinking and hanging out with dhs best friends from hs while my FIL did a majority of the parenting! We drive back to AZ Wednesday, spent one night at home, and then went up to flagstaff. Also perfect weather and walked everywhere and hit all our favorite restaurants and breweries. Oh and we adopted a puppy. And let the kids name her.

Waiting on the builders people to get here to give me a quote on paint. Then going to get samples. I decided to curl my hair and do my face so I'm feeling pretty today and ready to tackle fuel taxes.. Lol.
