So I bought the BBM Surge program. It's a 7 day insane workout and meal plan. High protein and high fat but low carb is the meal plan. This is to achieve nutritional ketosis - which I have no idea what that is but it works so hey, whatever. But most of the protein is meat.. Which I don't eat. Help please! I want to rework this so I can follow it pretty closely and have good results. I'm going to post the ones I need guidance on. Mexican Scrambled eggs, calls for 3 oz. beef taco meet Bacon guacamole bits with chicken, I'm going to just skip the bacon, but It call for you to dip the chicken in the guac. What other protein would be good for this purpose? Turkey rolls ups Chicken salad, I'm thinking chick peas? anyone made chick pea salad before? BLT chicken salad, 2 meat components here chicken cobb salad Chinese spiced lettuce wraps, 1 # ground turkey coconut curry chicken cagoldi

Not goldi, but falafels (made from chickpeas) can be dipped in guacamole 😄.
You do eat eggs right? I think you can put eggs in a cobb iso chicken.
And I would look for a meat substitute for the ground turkey thing and taco meat. I've eaten a lot of these from a brand called tivall, most of them tasted great!

I'm only helpful on a couple-
Morningstar has a faux beef crumble that I like. I'm sure you've seen it in the frozen section. That can go in the first recipe.
For the coconut curry chx and the chx cobb salad, I would sub pieces of tofu.
Goldi will come save the day on your other recipes. 🤗

Jackfruit is a good alt-- it cooks down like pulled pork. I've only had it canned, so I can't speak to how difficult it is to prepare. Marinated tofu, soyrizo, any of the gardein (?) products for salad or sandwiches (although, I'm sure that will add extra calories) Black beans make a good burger/sandwich filler.

You're not looking to sub the eggs, right, just the meat?
I would use lentils or make walnut meat in place of the beef. If you want something pre-packaged then I'd go with Gardein or Beyond Meat crumbles. You could always just do black beans, too. But since the idea is to eat healthier, I'd probably look to use the beans, lentils or walnut meat for the purpose of sticking with unprocessed foods.

Yes, you can do chickpea salad. And it's good. I would use chickpeas for the Cobb also.

BLT - shiitake, tempeh or rice paper bacon.
Let me think on what to use for the chicken guac and chicken sandwich here...

LCHF is really difficult to do as a vegetarian, as most of the vegetarian protein substitutes have a moderate amount of carbs in them as well, which defeats the purpose. If you do eggs though, I'd focus there and find ways to add dietary fat. You may have to utilize Pinterest for different vegetarian LCHF recipes besides modifying the ones above.

Ketosis is when your body switches from burning carbs (sugar) to burning fat (body/dietary) for fuel.

My body just feels better regardless of weight loss. I started back this week myself, but I'm a big meat eater so it's not difficult for me to take out carbs.

Is that what she's going for, LCHF with the Meal Plan?
If so, then your macros are going to be off from what she wants you eating regardless of substitutions.
Like with the turkey roll-ups, I'd do thinly sliced zucchini probably but again, you aren't going to get the fat or carbs she wants with that meal.
You absolutely can eat high protein without meat, but I think if her recipes aren't geared towards that then she's kind of boxed you into recipes that aren't necessarily going to work all that well for you.

Spiced lettuce wraps, this is probably where I would do tofu or tempeh.
