Hi,
I don't know if anyone remembers me from TCF so I will re-introduce just in case since I was not a frequent poster. MH and I did not have TTTC with our first. He was born early at 31 weeks due to a placental abruption and was in the NICU for 6 weeks. It was a very scary time but he is doing good now(3.5 years old). We started TFAS when he was 1. We saw an RE after a year and did a few IUIs before we moved on to IVF. After our retrieval just days before our transfer, the doctor called to tell us she was cancelling the transfer. On the past few scans to track follicle growth she had noticed that I had a very large C-section scar that was filling with fluid. She was worried about the consequences of getting pregnant since there was not much lining between the edge of the scar and the edge of my uterus and afraid of a uterine rupture. This was in September of last year. Since then we saw many different doctors and some agreed with her (REs) and others did not (MFMs). Either way our RE said she would not do a transfer unless we got surgery to fix the scar. I had the surgery on May 31st. Then we had to wait to try. Next week we will have an US to determine if the surgery worked and we are scheduled for a transfer at the end of this cycle. The beginning of July I will start monitoring with a transfer around mid/end of July.
Work has been slower lately so I am hoping I can start participating more frequently.
