I don't know if anyone else here was/is into babywearing and wraps, but I have several wraps (and some $$$) that we have pretty much outgrown and we are done having kids. DD2 is 18 months and we'll use a tula or ssc when needed now. On one hand, I have some serious sentimentality on 3 wraps that I'd love to make into something, but then, the thought of how much money I could get back horrifies me. They are shorties, so I would be afraid to take much length as a scrap. I am at a basic level with a sewing machine, but could make something like a basic quilt with scraps.
Idk. I'd love to hear any ideas you guys have! I need to commit or sell.

I never used a wrap, so I'm not sure what the fabric is like (cotton? a blend? how thick?), or how much fabric we're talking about, but it seems like you could incorporate it into a keepsake quilt like this: www.sassyquilter.com/memory-quilts/If you do a Google image search for "baby clothes quilt" will bring up a ton of ideas. I've also seen people do pillows and "memory bears" out of sentimental material.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately too. I have a few wraps and a Tula that I just cannot let go.
I haven't come up with any great ideas so I'm interested in more suggestions.

You could make pillow cases even for a body pillow probably. Like I'm thinking for your child's bed, not throw pillows for the living room.

Me too. I sold my ergo and pouch and carriers like that. But my woven wrap I couldn't sell, it's just sitting in a box. I'm too afraid to ruin it but I can't let it go either!

My woven wrap is just so pretty, I can't let it go. I'm determined to find something to do with it.

I don't have the sewing skills but I would be willing to make a few practice ones before making a kick ass unicorn with my woven wrap.

I'm making some cowl scarves out of a piece of wrap scrap (Ethos Spellbound Quest) using this pattern: babybondaproductions.com/portfolio/free-download-wrap-scrap-cowl/ They're super easy to sew and pretty. I'm contemplating framing a piece of my wraps when I'm done with them (or getting a scrap of the same wrap), or making them into pillows or something else. Or maybe having a bag made. There are a ton of ideas on pinterest if you search wrap scrap ideas.
