I got up early and intended to go for a jog before meeting my friend to go to the farmers market, but my ear buds appeared to have died, and by the time I found and untangled the non-bluetooth, I just made a cup of coffee and told her I'd be over to her her early.

Got home and went for my job and my phone completely died toward the end...like shut itself off and wouldn't turn on. So we went to Verizon. Omg, I thought I was going to punch the guy I got...he told me I had to pay the balance off on the phone to get another. I told him I wasn't paying $250 for a phone that doesn't work. He told me that was the only option. I asked if they were willing to lose a 20year customer with 2 phone and × tablets over this and he said there was nothing we could do. I said really, sprint is across the street, I'm sure they can do something. He again said there was nothing he could do. I turned around and loudly said that it was sad they don't support their products or customers.

We got in the car and I called their 800 number (from Hs phone) to complain and the guy I got was great, told me he'd take care of canceling the phone and waive the activation fee on a new one, he submitted an order and told me we would get a call when it was ready to be picked up.

Hi from the hotel bathroom hiding while the kids fall asleep. We got a late start and ended up running to buy tickets for the train and then running to help mh get the kids out of the car and on the steam train. A "conductor" was super nice and helped us get situated since I literally bought tickets 2 minutes before it left. J had no idea where we were going and he was so so thrilled and loved it. He kept saying the surprise was fantastic. #parentingwin

Then we went to a brewery for dinner which was delish but super crappy service. I would like a dessert but I don't foresee that happening, so prob just going to bed shortly..

Busy Saturday for us.

It’s tax free weekend here, so I got up early to be at the uniform shop to get M some shirts for school. It was crazy there last year on this weekend, so I was the first there and got in and got out. Then I had to hurry home so we could be ready to go to a pool party for one of M’s school friends. Both kids had a blast and we were pooped. Instead of resting, I came home and started painting M’s room. I only have the ceiling left. It was tough because we just moved everything to the center of the room and it didn’t give me a lot of space to maneuver. Lesson learned, but it’s mostly done.

We just had dinner and now I have to get the kids and myself bathed. I hope they pass out soon so I can just zone out on a TV show.

That’s how I painted the girls’ room a while back. I kept having to move things so I could get my ladder in the right spot. Pain in the butt.

Sunny41 Happy Birthday!

I’m getting nervous. 50ish people are coming to my house tomorrow. None of them have ever been here and some we have never even met and it’s suppose to rain.

So C sat on the potty some more today and successfully used it again tonight before bed. I don't have her in panties yet or anything but I'm happy she's interested and willing to cooperate.

I'm not sure if it was the rainy weather or what, but I have just felt exhausted all day. I would hit the hay, except that I am waiting for our mattress pad to come out of the dryer so we can make the bed :/ We rotated the mattress earlier and I threw one set of sheets and the pad into the wash. When I went to put them in the dryer, there were brownish spots all over everything that definitely hadn't been there. It's happened before with clothes but this was the worst yet. Argh. (*Our* washer/dryer are in the garage b/c this house came with a set, and--this will surprise no one--the house's set sucks.) So all this prompted a google search of "how to clean your washing machine", which we proceeded to do, and meanwhile I soaked everything in oxyclean. I feel like a professional washerwoman but I think everything came clean.

LOL! I saw that last night...my sister and I were discussing if a lifetime of free CFA is worth having a baby in a public restroom.

Just got back from my cousin's bridal shower. It was really nice and after a rocky start this morning, all the kids cooperated for Pete really well and everyone went to bed at their regular time.

So I met my friend at the first bar after work and then we decided to leave for a different bar. I drove separately and just about t-boned an idiot that ran a red light. Good thing I saw him in time and have good breaks. My heart is just finally settling down after 20 minutes. I just got to the next bar now so I’m sitting in my car to collect myself for a minute before I head in.

Hi ladies. We had a beautiful drive down the coast yesterday and enjoyed tooling around town then heading to the beach. The dog was one of the happiest goofs prancing around.

Today we're going to check out Comicon then more beach time.

My day to get up with the kiddos. B immediately wanted ‘bacon, eggs and cheese grits’. Someday they’ll be happy to eat cereal, right??

We’re watching Sing (B’s newest favorite) and once I finish my coffee I guess I’ll get up and start being productive.

No big plans today. The sitter is coming at 6 so DH and I can go out to dinner; she’s about to head off to college (:sob: ) so I’m hoping she can recommend a friend that’s either a year younger or staying local for school.

Morning! I went for a run in the rain then DH and Colin went out to pickup donuts. Chase helped me with the laundry while we were waiting for them to get back. Now we're just hanging out for a bit before running errands later this morning. We may go out for lunch or hit up the trail if the weather clears up. My SIL has a new foster pup so she may come by to introduce the boys. They were oohing and ahhing over the IG pics yesterday.

I’m exhausted and the day is just beginning! Yesterday was a super busy day.

Last week I got the worst haircut of my life. Like random pieces were 2 inches longer then the rest, and there were just big uneven chunks. Anyway, got it fixed in the morning then came home to get ready for one of my BFFs baby shower. It was a very fought for baby (multiple rounds of IVF) so I’m just so over the moon for her. Spent all afternoon there then rushed home bc we had a sitter last night with big plans to go for a nice dinner and comedy club for mh birthday. Of course it was pouring rain and we ubered there so so umbrella, raincut etc. but we had fun. Got home at 1 AM after more than a few drinks so I’m dragging now. I got up w the kids while MH slept in but now I came up and am hiding in our room while he parents.

Just finished breakfast. Evie and I are going swimming after lunch at my best friends. We need to go to Home Depot, but I'm not sure that will happen this morning.

flamingo mwhip this is his 3rd birthday party at this place. It’s terrible. So loud. But he loves it. It’s like 8000 different bounce house/ slide type things. But the music is so loud you can’t even hear to talk to the other parents.

He asked to have his party there. I quickly told him no.

Oh for all the #olds like me. The comedian last night was Bill Bellamy - he used to be all over the place (mtv, hbo) back in the late 90s. He was still pretty funny!
