I've already been posting here, but figured I'd officially intro now that I got official beta #1 back.
I'm a middle school special ed teacher in the Midwest. Married in 2010, Started TTC#1 in 2013, adopted labrador puppy 1 in 2013, labrador puppy 2 in 2015, IUI in 2016, DD March 2017.
Started trying for #2 when my period came back/was cleared at 6 week pp appointment in May 2017. Went back to RE for testing in April 2018, polyps removed in May 2018, and IUI in July.
While we TTC #1 for a long time (she arrived basically 4 years to the date), we realize we've also be extremely lucky, as we were diagnosed Unexplained IF, and RE said lightning struck as our first ever IUI was successful (first time with meds too). Then she said it wouldn't happen again, that we were looking at 2-3 IUI and possibly IVF (which we weren't sure about, but thankfully it is covered), but apparently I've proven the RE wrong again.
OH, also random fun fact- My MIL has a psychic. Said psychic told her six months before we started IUI that we'd eventually have a girl and then a boy, and our family would have good news on July 17. Wouldn't you know it, BFP July 17, 2016 AND July 17, 2018. So now I'm really hoping this psychic is 3 for 3 correct on it being one boy. I can't handle multiples. Not with a 2 year old too, two dogs, a husband with a long ass commute, working full time, and no summer daycare.
