I have now caught 3 anorith today sitting at my desk at work. I really don't want to waste rare candies on drowzee, but I really don't want to miss out on the next special research step during this event.
ETA: Although it looks like we have 2 weeks before this event ends. Hopefully the weather cooperates and I can just walk a drowzee enough if I don't happen to catch any soon instead of using rare candies.

The GPS signal at our office is just weak enough that I sometimes get credit for walking when my phone is just sitting on my desk. Hopefully that adds up quickly! |

I managed to find one of those funky snow castforms and evolve that crawfish thing. Other than that, I’m not too impressed with this hoenn week thing

I finally caught a Lunatone. No idea why it was in my neighborhood on a sunny day around noon, but I found it and caught it!!

Yes!! They gave me a Lugia for my 7-day research breakthrough this week! Hopefully I can get s Ho-oh in the next 5 1/2 weeks too.

And I spun a PokeStop on the way home from a solo Target run which gave me a field research task where the prize is an aerodactyl. Just need to get that drowzee evolved now during the Hoenn event and only the kabuto will be between me and finally finishing this meltan quest.

I didn’t get out of the house today either. I have a stomach bug.
Has it seemed like you are getting less gifts when spinning? I haven’t gotten any in awhile and feel bad not sending people gifts!

I need this task I had gotten it a couple times before, then once I realized I was going to need it for the meltan quest I wasn't getting it anymore. It was added early January so it shouldn't be limited to this weekend. It's the "use an item to evolve a Pokemon" (or however it's phrased) task. |

I spin 7 discs on my walk at work and most of the time only get 1 or 2 gifts. It's very frustrating.

I learned tonight you can get a sinnoh Stone as a reward from training with a team leader! I assume it’s randomized because it’s the first time I’ve seen one this way. You can also battle the same non-leader/friend person 3x in one day and get them then, too
Just an FYI for those looking for them.

I still remember his first shiny. ‘There is something wrong with this game, this Magikarp I just caught is gold, not orange. The creators of this game really need to work on it’

He caught a shiny Psyduck last night. Lucky sob.
