Weeks pregnant: 9 weeks tomorrow
Baby is the size of a: Cherry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: This Friday
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, tired, good aversions, sore breasts and back pain on occasion, waking up at night to go to the bathroom, suuuper weird and vivid dreams
Milestones: baby is a fetus tomorrow!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Really hoping my OB won’t do a transvaginal US on my apt Friday bc it’s MHs birthday and we plan to go to a show that evening. My mom is keeping DD and it’ll be a nice evening out for just the two us which is rare. I’ve had two vaginal US’s this pregnancy and both times I left feeling extremely crampy which lasted about 24-48 hours and I would rather not feel like crap that evening. She mentioned at my last apt that sometimes the doppler doesn’t pick up a HB at 9 weeks so she’d just do a quick check but if that’s the case I’m hoping she’ll do an abdominal US. FX.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas for sure! Absolutely love getting to see everyone (we switch off Thanksgiving- one year with my fam and the next with my IL’s so Christmas is the only holiday we get to see everyone on both sides). Everything about Christmas is fun for me. The food, decorating the tree and house is always a great time, and I love being Santa!

Milestones: the kicks! Actually it feels more like flips but who mnows
Rants/Raves/Vents: raves- feeling movement. Rants- omg nausea, I'm 16 weeks, please go away now.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas. This year it will likely be quite uncomfortable though at 39+ weeks!

Weeks pregnant: 9+1
Baby is the size of a: Grape
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Finding out (in just a few weeks - eek!)
Appointments: I met with the OB coordinator today. I'll schedule my first tri screening next, and I have my 12-week appt on the books.
Symptoms: My stomach feels 100x better since discovering the dairy issue. Thankfully, yogurt and cheese are still ok, so life will go on. Otherwise, I'm just super tired, bloated, etc. Oh, this is new - water is suddenly revolting. Wtf, body?
Milestones: I found the heartbeat on my home doppler! Such a relief. And at this morning's appt, the OB coordinator squeezed me in for a sono due to my history. The little fella is doing great with a heartbeat of 194(!). I thought that sounded high, but the doc isn't concerned. Also, after measuring behind at my last two scans, growth has caught up! I'm measuring 9+1 on the nose. Good news all around. I have a small SCH that has worked its way to my cervix, so spotting can be expected.
Rants/Raves/Vents: That OB coordinator is my favorite person in the world today.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? I'm a total Christmas fanatic.

redhead610 omg 16 weeks?! That’s awesome! I can’t wait to be 16 weeks. For some reason I have that week in mind as the week I’ll feel better mentally/physically/emotionally and start shopping for baby etc. I’m sorry you’re still dealing with MS. Hopefully it’ll ease up asap. Woohoo for feeling movements too! Squee! CharlieB Glad you’re feeling better and yay for a great US!!

Weeks pregnant:8 wk 2 d
Baby is the size of a: 2x2 Lego
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: US and RN intake tomorrow-- wahoo!!!
Symptoms: Crampy, sore boobs, heartburn
Milestones: Hoping for a great US tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Vents: Went to see a new mental health provider last week. I had been seeing a psych NP, but she left the practice, so I saw a psychiatrist. I liked her a lot. The tough part is that she said that I wasn't being treated properly for my diagnosis (bipolar)-- I had been on an SSRI and doing great. Her big concern is that it can cause really crazy mood swings, and that baby will have withdrawal after birth. So now we're weaning off of the SSRI, which is making me really nervous. I do plan to ask my OB group about a psychiatrist that specializes in the perinatal period. I breast fed DD for 2y3m, and I hope to breastfeed this one. So while my psych doc sees it as, let's wean off of the SSRI and try to get you through this pregnancy, I'd really like to be able to BF, which would likely extend the med free period. I do think that the frequent monitoring and self care aspects are going to be really important. Deep breath.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? As an avid cook, I really love Thanksgiving.
*Note: I'll start a wellness Wednesday check in this week.

Weeks pregnant: 10w5d
Baby is the size of a: strawberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: FTM
Team: can’t wait to find out!
Appointments: not until August 1st
Symptoms: exhausted, crazy dreams, still feeling sick but maybe getting a little better
Milestones: nothing really
Rants/Raves/Vents: it’s been two weeks since my last doctor appointment and I have 2 more weeks until my next one. Feeling anxious that everything is still going okay in there!
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? I would say Christmas but right now all I can think about is delicious Thanksgiving food lol

Weeks pregnant: 8+2
Baby is the size of a: raspberry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: will find out
Appointments: Had mine today! Just one (phew!) and a 180 heartbeat. I have to schedule my 12 week once I find out if my insurance will cover the genetic testing and the nuchal screen. Fingers crossed!
Symptoms: some nausea, bloating, sinuses are irritated. Otherwise not much which is odd... I'm not sure if I'm just not feeling super tired or if I'm just used to it constantly... ha.
Milestones: I have a heartbeat!
Rants/Raves/Vents: Dr. is having me start the GD diet now while we wait for test results, just because of having it the last two and having big babies. Goodbye pizza for the next 7 months.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? I love all holidays, but probably Christmas just because it's more of a season and so I feel like I have time to truly enjoy and appreciate it.

Weeks pregnant: 9w tomorrow
Baby is the size of a: Jelly bean
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Finding out
Appointments: Just had one Friday. Next one set for August 10 and I have to do the 1 hr glucose test since I had GD with #2.
Symptoms: Still constant nausea with dry heaving and vomiting. Fatigue. Headaches. Food aversions.
Milestones: Saw Heartbeat Friday and baby is measuring right on track.
Rants/Raves/Vents: It would be awesome if my nausea would go away some. Even meds don't seem to be making that much of a difference.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. I host and love cooking. Plus I love the Macy's Parade and football so it is the perfect holiday to me!

cch I should technically be on the nov/dec board since my due date is 12/30, but I go between both boards since I'm m on the edge. There are a lot of early Nov due dates there so I felt like I was totally behind all of them with everything!

Weeks pregnant: 10w, 3d
Baby is the size of a: Golden Snitch
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Probably find out.
Appointments: Wednesday is my first official appointment with my midwife.
Symptoms: Extreme exhaustion coupled with an inability to sleep. Major food aversions. I feel like I can't eat anything.
Milestones: I cannot button my pants. Pants are beginning to be a real problem.
Rants/Raves/Vents: ***PGAL feels*** I am still having major PGAL anxiety. I can't seem to calm down. I can't bring myself to buy any clothes that actual fit. I am still totally freaking out and I don't know how to settle down. I last saw the HB at 7w, 4d which seems like forever ago. I had a very slight episode of pink bleeding last week which just absolutely set me into a spiral. I really need to get a hold of myself.
I am worried because I have lost weight since my BFP. I am not eating at all. When I do eat it is only raw veggies and fruit.
I am so ready to move on to the I am actually going to have a baby feeling. I feel stuck.
TL;dr - I am a mess.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. I love the time with family and no expectations of anything beyond wonderful food.

CharlieB I went through a period where water was gross to me too. Super fun. Thankfully it seems to have passed. nikkipal Looking forward to the wellness check in. I struggle with anxiety and went off meds while TTC and haven’t been able to take them since I’ve been pregnant and or nursing the past 4 years 😳. I hate replying on tapatalk, now I forget what else I was gonna say...

Yay to everyone for all the good appointments and beautiful heartbeats:)
My betas are still rising so just waiting until Thursday for my repeat US and then hopefully we'll be able to put a solid plan in place as to how to proceed. I asked them if they could please schedule the d&c ASAP if Thursday's US still shows no heartbeat. Normally they like to wait until betas start dropping but with me it increases my chance of another hemorrhage...which I am not willing to gamble on. So I hope they can get the d&c scheduled for early next week.
I'm actually doing fine. It mostly just feels like a continuation of last year which has actually helped a lot. The rising betas and worsening symptoms and growing belly are...fun...but otherwise I'm good. I told SO I'm done TFAS so I'm hoping he will come to terms with that sooner rather than later.
Anyways, I'm still lurking and cheering you guys on and can't wait to see ALL the squishy baby pics in the new year! I'll probably pop in to comment from time to time if no one minds:)

Bonus points for bloat, blump, bump pics 😊
Weeks pregnant: 13
Baby is the size of a: lemon
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: green
Appointments: aug 8
Symptoms: still peeing all the time, super emotional
Milestones: I think I’ve been feeling tiny movements. Hearing the heartbeat on Doppler.
Rants/Raves/Vents: I’m sad that my OB is in New Zealand until January. I think he could technically still deliver this baby, but I miss him.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas. My favorite day of the year is the day after thanksgiving, tree day. We go cut our tree down and then decorate our house all day and watch Christmas vacation. I have to admit I’m still a bit sad not having this baby here for Christmas. I have two December babies so that is what I’m used to. I’m partly glad I won’t have a newborn at Christmas again and I can focus on the boys, but it’s also weird to me bc that’s all I know 🤷🏻♀️.

wildflowers I didn't gain weight until 3rd tri with DD. I had HG and couldn't keep anything down including my prenatal. Baby was big, fat, and healthy despite me leaving the hospital after her birth underweight. You will be fine. My grandmother was pregnant fleeing through the alps during the war. She had 3 other children and they were starving. She had the baby in a camp and it was totally healthy despite her having basically no food the entire pregnancy. She always told me not to worry. Baby will always take what they need from you. Try not to stress. You saw the heart beat. Baby is healthy and growing. Everything will be fine:)

Weeks pregnant: 8
Baby is the size of a: Berry
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team: Green
Appointments: Ultrasound today, next check up is Aug 20th
Symptoms: All lol I have no idea what I don't have. But honestly, it hasn't been the worst pregnancy start I've had so can't complain.
Milestones: None yet
Rants/Raves/Vents: Baby is measuring about 4 days behind my due date based on LMP. I feel like due date based on LMP is probably more accurate. Heartbeat is in the 160s.
GTKY: What’s your favorite holiday?: Christmas!! I'm a Christmas in July kind of person, honestly. It doesn't offend me that stores put stuff out for it in August or sooner lol

Thanks k I'm glad I went through this last year so at least I'm not holding out hope like last time. My body just likes being pregnant and growing placentas...even when there are no babies:/ I'm just hoping they can give me a definitive answer on Thursday so we can move forward with the next steps.

k, go for the gourmet chicken garlic pizza from Papa Murphy's please. hehe. It's fine, I'm used to it. It's healthier for me and baby in the end. This time I'm being more strict to avoid a 10+ pounder. Baby is already measuring 3 days ahead, I fought them today about my due date because based on ovulation there is no way I'm three days ahead! They gave it to me. Both my boys were overdue so I want to be as accurate as possible but avoid induction again. Also, your day after Thanksgiving is identical to mine, right down to the movie. Bravo. wildflowers, hugs. I had one loss, right before this, and very early on but it is constantly in the back of my mind. I hope your OB is understanding and don't be afraid to push for more monitoring. Also I always lose several pounds in the beginning when I start the GD diet. Baby will be fine. <3 Besides, your diet isn't terrible - vegans have babies every day!
