Is anyone with toddlers or younger kids still picking them up or carrying them? Some days I can’t help it and have to pick my DS up, it hurts a tad, but also feels very necessary in the moment. my toddler is a runner so I have no choice but to pick her up very often. My dad is always telling me "don't pick her up!" (My parents live pretty close so we see them often) But what else can I do? I'm pretty sure I will be picking her up until the baby comes unless my dad wants to hire me a full time nanny ☺️ It’s hard not to be picking them up! Especially when they are having a meltdown in the middle of Wegmans and won’t get off the floor. You really have no choice.

pixiepink24 - The sunflowers in the background were beautiful! I hope you'll share some of the non-cell phone ones when you get them! justinbobby - That's great the walkthrough went well! Seems so crazy for someone to want a house that badly!! tbirdlove - Yay for the doula meeting going so well! That's great you were so comfortable with her! mirabelle - I carry DS daily still. He can walk no problem, but sometimes I need to move faster than letting him walk will allow. I think he's around 23-24 lbs though so he's not that heavy. I try to make sure not to carry him for too long, but it's really unavoidable at times. And I do try to make sure I'm not putting too much stress on my already stretched out ab muscles though.

NymeriaThank you! I'll try to share a few once I can upload them from my camera. My laptop has been broken so I'll have to wait for my SO to return next week.

Meh, if I had a toddler I'd still be picking them up as my body allowed. I still pick DD up at times...she's 6...mostly for big bear hugs and kisses because I also can't bend over. DON'T JUDGE ME.

I've decided to see a Webster certified chiropractor to help with my hip pain / help encourage baby to be in an optimal position for L&D. I'm really excited about one I found 20 minutes from work, but they close early on Fridays so I wasn't able to call them today. I'm anxious to call them Monday and see if they are taking new patients.

Finally paid of my $40 in fines from the library. They really get you with those DVD late fees. So we went to the library today and rented a few movies. I'm excited because we are watching Cinderella for the first time. I hope DD likes it even though it's so old. We also got Aladdin.
I also did a date night with DD and we did pizza and ice cream. I'm so regretting going to DQ instead of the local ice cream shop. That shit was nasty.

We went yesterday and I had both my DD and bonus baby. A total of 50+ pounds pushing in the double stroller in the GA heat and humidity. We surprisingly lasted about 3 hours. We also had to park so far away and up a hill. I was really beat last night. Put your feet up and maybe a cool bath.

The tub is too small (and I'm too big!) to let me get any pressure off of everything thing that hurts. I'm gonna go downstairs and eat some ice cream and then go to bed early.

Why does DD want a crib again? She is calling herself a baby and we keep reminding her she is a big girl now with a big girl bed.

She has also been pretending to be a baby. We were trying to potty train again and just gave up because she was constantly fighting with us about it. I think she’s just trying to find her own place.

MH is off at a car race with my dad and one of my brothers so it's just me, DS, and the dog today.
We just went for a walk and I only lasted 20 minutes outside. My phone says it's only 74 out but I was borderline sweating by the time we got back in!

Roomba is my new best friend. Each time we've run it so far we move different things so it can do a more and more thorough job. It's actually inspired me to clean my house a bit! Today I dusted, picked up ALL of the toys and other things from the floor, and swept out a bunch of the corners! Then I just turned on Roomba and I'm gonna sit down and work on some nursery wall design drafts!

DD started at Grandma's house with her cousins last night so DH and I have had the whole morning to ourselves. I convinced him to get our huge box of baby stuff down from the garage which then led us to organizing all of our kitchen cabinets to fit the baby bottles, pumping stuff, etc. And get rid of a ton of stuff. He's also helping move stuff out of the soon to be baby room. I'm so glad to finally get some shit done that's been on my checklist for a very long time.

Sometimes I have no choice, like getting him into the car seat when he’s being difficult. Or if he’s just upset and wants to be “up,” of course I pick him up for a minute or two 💙 DS1 is pushing 50lbs so newp.

I went to one of those big consignment sales that happen once a year. They allow expectant mothers to go on the first day. I ended up buying 24 items and spent right under $100!! I bought baby boy a cute pair of baby Chucks and some cute clothes, a maternity dress for me, a pair of sparkly Vans for DD as well as a Halloween dress and Rupunzel costume. Score!

The crib and rocker/recliner have been put together. dd2's room is starting to look like a nursery. I need to figure out where to put the changing table and then we can get things hung on the walls. I'm about to go ahead and use my completion discount to order our must haves from Amazon and really get things together. Work is hectic in a few weeks and I want to be as prepared as I can be since I'm sure I won't have energy later.

Has anyone this time around or previously found a reasonable place to order a maternity dress/gown for a maternity photo shoot?

Has anyone this time around or previously found a reasonable place to order a maternity dress/gown for a maternity photo shoot? I got a knee length floral maternity dress to wear to a wedding from H&M for $29, I think. I also got the dress I wore to my baby shower for DS on sale there for $5-10. It could be late enough in the season that they might have some summery maternity dresses on sale.

I’m debating if I want to go see a chiropractor, last night was the worst hip pain I’ve had so far, it was radiating down my leg and still hurt this morning when I woke up.
