So glad he’s ok alwayscheese! That horrible moment when you finish pumping in hopes to add to your freezer stash, and the little wakes up hungry.

alwayscheese Wow! I am glad your husband is okay. Leaf 🌱 I periodically have those kinds of thoughts even when I am on meds. I think some of it is normal. I would probably just watch it for awhile. If it is interfering with daily activities or getting worse I probably would get help. After 4 nights of crappy sleep L finally gave us an 8 hour stretch again last night. DS1 wanted to have a slumber party last night so I slept on the couch cushions on the floor with him last night.

I tried swaddling with one arm out last night. He went down at first but woke up after 2 hours. It then took 1 hour to get him back to bed. After that I put both arms back in. He isn't rolling really so I am not going to worry about it yet.

We had Em's third birthday today. She had the best time. I love our friends group we're building up. Everyone is so sweet and just chill. And my best friend who lives four hours away was there so that was the best. Leaf 🌱 so ironically after responding to your post, I'm starting to wonder if I'm getting some late exhibiting PPA/D. Yesterday I felt SO anxious all day and nothing I did would fix it. Today I'm super emotional. I don't know. Definitely something I'll keep my eye on.

alwayscheese I am so glad your dh is ok! Thank god for seat belts! Keep an eye on him. Leaf 🌱 anxiety sucks. Talk to your provider and don’t be afraid to follow up. I wish I had with my second. I’m pretty sure I had ppd/pa and I wasn’t not taken seriously and didn’t pursue it. Big mistake. @sunshieandaisies a vacation sounds amazing. I’m glad you can do it. Where are you going??

As for me, we hosted 30+ people for baptism celebration today. I am exhausted. I wished I’d gotten more pics of the food and party, but I can only do so many things. I’m hoping my sil sends me some photos. Ds has been sleeping okay...most of the time. We are unswaddling one arm and I definitely think he’s sleeping worse bc of that. Also, he’s getting too big for the bassinet. I can keep him there a bit linger though right?? My last baby is getting big!! 😢

I think my prime day purchases got lost. 😏 the tracking page says three times in the last two days that delivery had been delayed because of weather or natural disaster. Whatever. Well.

And thanks everyone for caring about DH. He's been updating me all day on what is sore and how sore it is. It does seem to be very minor. Now we just need to decide if we can be a "one car(truck) family" or what to replace the car with.

Hi friends - playing some late catch up. DH's family flew out on Wednesday and my parents got in yesterday. My dad met the baby for the first time, and M charmed the heck out of him, it was so sweet! We have fun plans this week. My mom is dying to shop for both boys, so I have a little wishlist of clothes they could both use that we'll be shopping for. alwayscheese I'm so glad your H is okay and it seems to be very minor! I hope he keeps recovering quickly and you're able to decide what to do car-wise. Also, boo hiss to the Amazon packages maybe getting lost. Hopefully they turn up! Leaf 🌱 cornpop I don't have much to add to what the other ladies have said about red flags with possible PPD/A, but a lot of hugs to both of you. I've been struggling with racing, dark and/or anxious thoughts especially when I try to go to sleep, and I've been meaning to look into counseling too.

Happy Birthday calendula ! That sounds amazing. Please come back and tell us all about it so we can live through you Thanks, everyone! Saturday was fun. We had such perfect beach weather and warm water for swimming. The vineyard was so pretty too. Sunday was rainy here but DH and DS made me breakfast in bed, which was cute, and I got a good workout in the am. Spent most of yesterday cleaning house and doing laundry but it does feel good to start the week all organized. So, all good things.
