Things I learned today:

1. E will have a major poop around 2am almost every morning. I've accepted this.

2. Costco photo cards are amazing.

3. My work is giving me 3 weeks extra pay during my FMLA time. So I get 9 paid weeks versus 6.

4. My son prefers his grandparents over me.

Don’t feel bad chrisy01. Think of it has how great it is that they have a bond.

When C was a baby he got very clingy with my MIL. He was not a snuggler with me at all but with her he just melted. I was pretty jealous and it took a while for me to come around to accepting it and counting it as a gift. I love that they have that bond now.

Work is kicking my ass. Then we had to do a Target run after I picked C up. I ordered takeout and they got there before Dh got home so I asked them to leave it on my porch. Luckily it was still there.

I ended up getting a ridiculously low blood sugar and instead of helping Dh claimed he was starving and ate his dinner instead of trying to get C to bed. Now it’s an hour past his bedtime and they are playing in the basement. I am hiding in the bathroom annoyed.

When I finally sat down at 9 he says he’s headed to bed. He doesn’t seem mad at me or anything, just exhausted.

He's okay...we are still waiting to hear about the promotion so he's still on edge. When I told him LO wants to stay at my parents he seemed to be fine with it.

The last week or so he's been sleeping in the guest room so he can get some sleep. I will say that if it gets bad he will get up and take her for an hour or two so I can get rest. It just makes sense since he's working and I'm not to make sure he gets sleep. We both don't need to be sleep deprived.

I’m laying in the tub relaxing and it sounds like there is a monsoon outside. Good grief. I knew it was supposed to thunderstorm tonight but this sounds super hard.

Also, I put the girls to bed at 7:30 thinking they’d be out in like 5 minutes since they both were acting exhausted. Instead DH (who has been home alone all day) can’t be bothered to sit with them for 10 minutes till they pass out. It’s been an hour already of them fighting and playing.

Just got back from a pool playdate. Cadence asked why our house wasn't as big as her friend's. I told her to talk to her Dad about it. I've been saying we needed a bigger house since she was born. He doesn't listen to me, maybe he'll listen to her.

Another one bites the dust. Lady Jaye has the full on sneezees. Sunshine is now in the hacking cough, gag on phlegm stage. Why couldn't they all just get it at the same time? The kitten is a complete maniac, running, playing and thinking her world is fantastic now that she's all better.
The man of the house, Kaine, still doesn't have the sneezees, but I'm not holding my breath.

When does your preschool provide you the list of things you need to provide? I've already registered but they haven't provided a list yet.

They never gave us a list but I found one on their website.

It's not on their site either. I want to get it done ahead of time so I don't have to worry about it I go back to work when his school starts.

Are you sure you have to provide stuff? I only send lunch daily and sleeping stuff at the beginning of the week for T. Everything else they provide.

Both schools B has attended typically send out supply lists 2-3 weeks before school starts, when they send teacher assignments and info about back-to-school orientation.

H’s school has it on their website but they also send out a packet a few weeks before school starts with that kind of information.
