1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3 weeks today! She’s up just under 2 lbs since birth already-she’s getting chunky! (DD1 was always skinny so I’m loving the baby rolls we’re starting to get!)
2. Symptoms/milestones?
3. Appointments? My 6 week appt is Aug 1 and DD2 will go back to the doctor Aug 22 for her 2 month and immunizations.
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Loud chewing/chewing with your mouth open. Gets really fun at dinner with DD1 when all she does is chew with her mouth open (we’re working on it though).
5. Pics please!
Question: DD2 has gained just under 2 lbs already but only eats for like 5 min on one side each time she eats (she eats about every 2.5 hrs). Then she throws a 2 min feeding in every hr which is starting to get really annoying and making me feel like all I do is have a baby attached to me while I’m awake. DD1 didn’t do this-please tell me this is normal?

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 11 weeks tomorrow and will have a weight check at lactation tomorrow but I’d say around 10lbs 2. Symptoms/milestones? She has found her feet and hands and is constantly trying to eat her hands. She also has done a couple little laughs. Lots of slobber going on too 3. Appointments? So many. We had Speech eval today for feeding. Craniosacral therapy today. Lactation tomorrow. 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? People who complain about the same things over and over again but never change or be proactive to fix the problem 5. Pics please!

Postnatal nurse next Wednesday for a weight check 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Telling someone how to do their job. Ugh 5. Pics please! Cuddling with Oma after our walk at the zoo today

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 1 month today!!! Not sure, 10-11lbs I’d guess. 2. Symptoms/milestones? I’m getting a few little smiles here and there so that’s fun. My pelvis still hurts. 3. Appointments? F has her 1 month visit next week and I have my PP visit tomorrow. 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? People who are always extremely late or who cancel plans frequently. I think it’s so rude. 5. Pics please!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 2 months/9 weeks Hasn’t been weighed but steadily gaining and growing into bigger clothes.
2. Symptoms/milestones? Getting an occasional smile, sleep has improved out of sight now the reflux is under control
3. Appointments? No
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Being critical of every single thing, just because. Like gagging to complain or criticize everything and anything. So busy grumbling that there is no time to be happy or enjoy anything. I’m a glass half full kinda gal.
5. Pics please! POOF We had a wave of warm weather this week. It’s the coldest month of the year here and I had to get out T-shirt’s and short onesies for W ha ha. I love living in a mild climate but this was very unusual. POOF I could just eat these little piggies up!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3 weeks 2. Symptoms/milestones? Sleep is still rough. She doesn’t seem comfortable unless she sleeps on us. I can’t wait for bigger chunks of sleep. She also hates her crib. We keep trying it but not a fan. She is so alert and happy though. 3. Appointments? Next week is her one month appointment. 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Lateness.

So excited to jump back into exercise. DS has his 2 month next. 4. The list is too long. Mostly revolve around being inconsiderate of others. Poof

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 10 weeks, 2 days. None that I can think of.
2. Symptoms/milestones? I *think* I maybe see tooth buds, but I'm questioning myself or just refusing to believe it. Because A) it's SO early & B) last babies are supposed to stay littler for longer, right? Otherwise, she sleeps through the night (9/10pm to 6am) while I do not (I get up around 2/3 to pump). She also started to roll from back to belly, but only when I lay her on my bed and step away to grab her PJs or to pee before I feed her. She has zero interest otherwise.
3. Appointments? Nothing until 9/4 for her 4 month appointment.
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Chronic lateness. Couple of times over the course of ever, I'll let slide, because I know I'm not punctual every single time, but if you're late every.single.time we make plans, I'm going to stop making plans. I have too many schedules to adhere to.
5. Pics please! I'll edit with pics from my phone in a little while.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3.5 weeks; 7 lbs 8 oz as of early last week
2. Symptoms/milestones? Lots of spit up. Poor guy I can’t lay him down or he spits up so I try to keep him upright as long as possible after I feed him. We’ve been slacking on tummy time because I hate seeing him spit up. ☹️
3. Appointments? 1 month for DS2 on Monday; my 6 week check up is on the 26th
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Lying
5. Pics please!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 11weeks, 4 days. I’m estimating around 11 lbs.
2. Symptoms/milestones? Still such a noisy sleeper. Her gasps and noises are worse than her brothers ever were. So we have an appointment with pulmonary clinic tomorrow. She smiles a ton. Great at batting at toys and kicking them. Is able to self soothe for night sleep but not naps.
3. Appointments? Tomorrow at the children’s hospital. And PT. 4 month chec up late August.
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Exaggerating.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 8 weeks 2. Symptoms/milestones? Smiling and chatting more and more. Less screaming prior to gas/pooping. Will tolerate car rides that are less than 10 minutes. 3. Appointments? Her 2 month is next week. 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? Habitual lateness especially if there is no explanation. This really gets under my skin at work because I have to alter lesson plans to accommodate for a class coming 5-10 minutes late. It just feels super disrespectful. 5. Pics please!

Tomorrow for her early 2 months check up. 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? I don’t know, many things annoy me but I can’t say they irritate me since it’s traits I probably have time to time too. 5. Pics please!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share?
Baby girl turned 1 month on Wednesday! As of her appointment yesterday, she is 21.5 inches and 10 lbs 5 oz. That means she’s grown 2 inches and gained 3 lbs 5 oz since birth. 😮
2. Symptoms/milestones?
I have a major oversupply, so I’m working on that with the help of a lactation consultant. Hoping that will fix the spit up issue. Baby smiled at me when I sang the other day! She’s getting better with tummy time; less crying and more moving.
3. Appointments?
Next one is at 2 months!
4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people?
Loud chewing! Good gracious. Nails on a chalkboard.

Update from pulmonologist: we get to schedule a bronchoscopy, swallow study, and sleep study. On my almost 12 week old. Fun!! Oh no ! Did I miss the back story? What started the consult? Hoping it is just protocole and nothing serious. She makes gasping noises in her sleep and high pitched stridor when sleeping and sometimes eating. Her brother had laryngomalacia as a baby and hers is likely that. 95% of cases outgrow it, 5% end up needing surgery to trim the excess floppy tissue on the epiglottis. It’s a common birth defect that most pediatricians will just call “noisy breathing from an immature floppy airway.” Which is true, but for my children it apparently causes more issues. And hey both have pectus excavatum, or a concave chest. Their dad has one too. It makes it harder to check for retractions. Basically, my kids sound like they have croup even when they are healthy. But their airway isn’t closing due to inflammation; it’s just folding into itself. Colds and the like make it a thousand times worse. She might need thickened feedings like my son did. She could end up on an apnea monitor, O2, or a cpap machine while sleeping, or could end up having surgery to correct the anatomical issue.

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 2 months/9 weeks. L is 14 lbs, 23 1/4 inches, gained 4 lbs and 3 inches since his 2 week visit. He’s a meatball! 2. Symptoms/milestones? Earlier this week L had frozen expressed milk from May (I was still on dairy then), and his eczema and vomiting flared. So I threw my entire stash out and am getting stricter about my dairy intake. Other than that, he is the happiest baby. He’s so strong for such a chunky little guy; he can support his head and neck and can “stand” on his legs. He gets mistaken for a 6 month old all the time, and it makes this time feel like it’s flying by even faster than it already is. 3. Appointments? Not until 4 months 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? I hate when people cut me off or interrupt. My mom and a few coworkers do this often and it drives me crazy. 5. Pics please! Poof [\spoiler]

daffodilsandcoffee, I am sorry that sounds stressful. I would have no idea what baby noises are not ok, newborn are just so noisy all the time. Hoping you get good news at your next appointments and no need for surgery !

I’m I little late, oh well lol 1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 2 months/ 9 weeks 2. Symptoms/milestones? Dealing with reflux still. She has a crazy rash the dr said it’s normal but her skin is very dry! Tons of smiles & she hit a hanging toy the other day and then smiled. I love when they start realized they can do things like that 3. Appointments? On Thur - 2 mo check & shots 4. GTKY: What habit/trait do you find most irritating in other people? People who can’t tell the truth or exaggerate things. It’s just so annoying and unnecessary. 5. Pics please!
