Milestones:

Challenges: we’ve had an overall good week. I took him to the doctor yesterday to get a preschool form completed and he was awful during the exam while the doctor was trying to talk with me, but then we went to do a blood draw and there was no drama about it so he redeemed himself.

Funny/cute stories: he was doing yoga poses for the dr yesterday it was amusing to me.

How are you? Hot! It’s so hot here.

Anything else? He is being formally tested for allergies so I’m interested to see if anything shows up on the test they are running.

Milestones: walking! GUYS, HE’S WALKING!!!!!

Challenges: sleep 🤨😏 what else is new.

Funny/cute stories:oh man I feel like I never can think of good stories for you guys. I had a dentist appt the other day and took him with me. He was such a ham in his stroller, so happy to see new people and a new place, he was so relaxed and happy everyone was like wow! He’s so happy and no tears! I was so happy he behaved LOL.

oh, the other day we were waiting for dh to get out of work to go to a party for a friend who defended his thesis. N and I played outside on one of the campus’ lawns. Of course he had a poopsplosion. I go to change him and find out there are only shorts and a hoodie in the bag, no onesie. 😐 and the hoodie is a 6-9mo hoodie so it was basically a belly shirt. So we showed up at this party in mismatched shorts and a belly shirt hoodie bc I’m the worst at checking to make sure his diaper bag is fully stocked. 🤦🏻‍♀️ First time meeting old coworkers of dh’s and my kid is a hot mess LOL.

How are you? OK. Have a cold and cough that will not go away.

Milestones: knows her ABC's now

Challenges: she is beginning to be quite defiant. Today she was pushing most of her dinner on the floor

Funny/cute stories: she has favorite books she knows what part comes next now. She has a friend at school she spends all her time with, it's in her daily reports, the teacher shows me cute pictures of them and she gives him kisses all the time. I said on Monday morning we're going to school today and she said the boy's name.... so it begins.

How are you? hot our AC has been out since last Sunday.
