Well, it looks like I'm out, too. Baby measuring about 3 weeks behind and no heartbeat could be detected. Going in next week for another u/s (the morning of our trip to Hawaii...super fun timing), but I'm not hopeful at all. The dates being off is not a logical possibility. I’m so very sorry to hear this. Sending you love and hugs ❤️

Is anyone else getting swollen feet already? I've had marshmallow feet the last two days. I can't believe it's starting this early.

Had an appt with a new OB today. He was a comedian. after I got undressed for my Pap smear the nurse came in and said he wanted to meet me dressed first 😂. He was thorough too. and when I was leaving he jokingly said, “oh actually I need you to go back in and get undressed I forgot something” 🤣 and we got to hear a heartbeat ❤️

k Yay for a heartbeat an a friendly OB! I have a question - is everyone making changes to their beauty products while pregnant? Like different facewash, deodorant, soap, makeup, perfume...? I wasn't planning to change anything, no doctor ever told me to, but now I'm starting to worry. TIA!

I wasn't planning to change anything, no doctor ever told me to, but now I'm starting to worry. TIA! I think this really depends on your comfort level. My normal routine involves using only products that are vegan, phthalate-free (when possible...labeling is a little trickier with this sometimes), and parabens-free. So in that sense I haven't had to change my products when pregnant.
The only exception is that recently I had switched to a different deodorant because I felt excessively sweaty, but I stopped using it when I got pregnant because it contains aluminum. Some people would probably eye roll me for the aluminum thing because really only trace amounts are absorbed through the skin. But my comfort level is increased by knowing I'm not putting it in my body at all. For me the decreased anxiety is worth it.

I wasn't planning to change anything, no doctor ever told me to, but now I'm starting to worry. TIA! So I did for my first pregnancy, switched to a new phthalate-free line... And broke out in a horrendous systemic allergic reaction to it for which I had to go on steroids to kick. It was awful. So I got off my high horse (or fell, quite resoundingly) about being perfect during pregnancy. That said, I don't do a lot of make up or perfume normally so I don't feel like I am over-exposed. I am obviously an extreme anecdote there but proceed with caution if you have any allergies!

sunshiney I did with my first but now I use mostly safe, natural skin and hair care so I haven’t changed anything.

If this one is anything like my last two pregnancies (one a January EDD, one November), you definitely will see me rocking flip flops until I can’t possibly bear the cold anymore. But really, at least until Thanksgiving. 😬 I have and failed tried to find flats that I really like that are nice and wide. By the time I give up my flip flops it’ll be time for straight up snow boots!

My appointment went well this morning. Saw baby measuring 8w3d with HR 168 and moving around. I have a very small SCH and a cyst on my left ovary but nothing that should cause any issues. EDD is now 2/19/19.

That's great tngrl3 ! Did you determine the due date based off the ultrasound measurements? I'm asking because I measured 2 days ahead of where I thought I was based off ovulation, and 4 days behind what I'd be based on LMP. So now I'm wondering what my official due date is.

It is 2 days ahead of what I thought based on ovulation (by CM changes) but right on based off LMP. My OB always goes off the early US for determining EDD.

I didn't actually see the OB at my appointment or even get a due date. But I am updating my pregnancy tracker app to a due date based off the ultrasound. 2 less days of 1st tri is worth it LOL.

tngrl3 yay for a great appt! I had a cyst my last pregnancy, no issues. Many of them dissolve naturally, mine had to be surgically removed but no big deal.

I told my family! It took about 10 minutes for anyone to notice the big sister shirt on DD, but they finally did LOL. My mom is having a milestone birthday party tonight, and they would have noticed me not drinking, so it was a relief getting it out in the open.

notagoddess, People will notice my lack of drinking at parties so we're trying to get things figured out for a reveal so I'm not asked any questions lol My back pain sucks already. Sigh. I was really hoping it would hold off until 2nd tri but doesn't look like it. Maybe I'll get around to requesting a better chair at work this time....
