lfig glad they could get S in sooner! I have never heard of a tonsil stone. Is it just like other stones? Calcium deposits that cause lots of pain? Mine aren’t painful necessarily, mostly it just feels like there’s something stuck in the back of my throat and it drives me insane. They can hurt a little bit but not unbearable by any means. |

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys! Today was a super busy day because I had to on board two new employees and I’ve never done that before. But all of my coworkers gave me birthday wishes and one is buying me lunch Thursday.
Dh on the other hand has said nothing. Granted he left before I got up and won’t be home until I go to bed, but he could have texted, called, left a card... He knows it’s my birthday since we had a party Friday with my mom who shares he birthday. I only expect a card and some acknowledgment so I’m disappointed. Especially since I usually take him out to dinner somewhere nice for his.
We’ve been together 17 years. I should know by now to have zero expectations so I kind of blame myself for being upset.

My dad volunteered to watch my brothers kids. Then handed them off to my mom. Now shes trying to hand them off to me and says I must be in a bad mood since I said no. No, I just have my own kids and shut to take care of. I didn't volunteer because I don't have time so don't try to pawn them off to me.

tgrimes, I get them too! Not super often, but every so often I notice my throat is sore and I look back there and there are a couple big ones. I do the qtip trick to get them out too. So gross, but it's so satisfying to get them out! Huh. Now I’m wondering I have them too. I never knew they were a thing but I get white spots when I get a sore throat. I’ve never attempted to touch them so no idea what they actually are. #fascinated |

We made vacation friends on the beach that we hung out with the past 2 days but they left tonight. We learned everything about each other/our kids except our names so I finally introduced myself just before they left lol. We had my dad yesterday and my mom today but now we will be on our own. 3 adults was nice because one of us was in the water with the big kids, one in the shallow water with T, and one at the blanket with C. Tomorrow will be more challenging. We have had ice cream on the beach and at night and donuts for breakfast everyday so I’m going to be a total fatty by the end of the week.

Hi all, N survived her first morning at the new school. She was like a lemur and clung to me most of the time, but I'm sure she'll adjust and love it, at least I hope so. I now have to figure out how to pack her a lunch that she will eat, she refused her sunbutter sandwich, so I will try turkey tomorrow.

I'm sorry about your dad cagoldi+1 on having tonsil stones and +100404 on thinking they are the worst peachsmama my OB is still very zika nervous, we went in April and she said trying (which is unlikely) is off limits until October. I'd be sure to pack and wear lots of bug spray, especially your H since it lives longer in men. |

I have never heard of tonsil stones until now.
My eye is getting so much worse. I found restaurants without outdoor dining yesterday and today solely so I could keep my sunglasses on. The entire white of my eye is red.

Remember a couple of weeks ago I thought my neck was infected but it was just a lot of swelling. Well now it’s definitely infected. I’m so frustrated with this. I took a picture and I’m hoping that’s enough for them to call in antibiotics but I’m sure they will make me come in even though I’m buried at work. Ugh!

Happy birthday, wedding and slenle! I'm sorry your DH isn't celebrating at all, wedding. I'm glad to hear the outlook sounds good for your Dad, cagoldi. Add me to the curious about tonsil stones group. The clearing the throat comment loosening them up makes me wonder if I've had them, but who knows? |

Also it's so nice to be home!! Chase was super excited and then clingy, which was kind of nice since he usually gives me the cold shoulder when I've been gone. DH got Colin while I was grabbing Chase's things, and he came running down the hall and shrieking, then jumped on me. Even Moms get to feel like rock stars sometimes.  |

Dh just got home. I told him about by neck and my hectic day. He says sorry you’re having a bad day. I said yep makes it worse because today’s my birthday. He says “ooh yeah I even remembered that earlier. Happy birthday “. I said “it would have been nice to get a card”. He says “oh man, I’m sorry”. I dramatically walk up the stairs and say “just a note: I took you out to dinner in your birthday”. I think I’ve laid the guilt on as best I can at this point.

I’m sorry about the infection wedding. Hope you can get meds soon. And TP to YH. Birthdays should warrant an acknowledgment at the very least. Also disgusted and intrigued by tonsil stones. Just got an update on my dad. He did have a minor stroke but they expect him to make a full recovery. I’m glad he’s going to make a full recovery, how scary for everyone. |

I’m so glad I’m not alone in my disgustingness. I honestly feel like everyone gets them, they just don’t necessarily know what they are. I know I had them before but figured out what it was after some internet research a couple years ago. |
