3 cats with the sneezies this morning, though the kitten is almost 100% again.
It started raining as soon as I was headed out the door for my allergy shots because of course it did.

If they did a colonoscopy, it would show up.  I can't remember if she did a colonoscopy & an endoscopy, or just the endoscopy.

It’s day 2 of my course, Accelerating Women's Leadership, it’s very interesting and definitely gives me the push i need to start applying into manager roles. So, I guess I need to revamp my resume, again, and get looking/applying.

Just an endoscopy...so no testing for that.

Just left Sierra’s appt. looks like we will be having adenoids and tonsils out. Not sure when because the first available was the end of September. We are going to Fiji 2 weeks later and I didn’t want to do it so close to the trip in case she has any complications. But they are pretty sure they are going to get something else open up sooner so she will call me and let me know.

They said the sleep apnea was very severe. And I feel like an ass of a parent for not looking into it sooner. But the surgery might not even fix it but we are trying that first and hoping for the best. But because she has low tone, her muscles in the throat close off things when she’s relaxed more significantly than a typical child which is contributing to the problem. If the surgery doesn’t make it better she will have to do a CPAP. Which does not seem ideal to me at all!

I'm at work and totally not into being here. My period started so I'm in a blah mood. I did call to schedule to place my IUD, though. I was supposed to get that done 6 months ago, but the timing was never right. Since I'll be off Thursday to pack for my trip home, I figured this was it.

Morning! H and I had a nice relaxing day yesterday poking around the restore and the hardware store. Then we did a few odds and ends around the house and ordered in sushi. My mom asked if we were going to do anything romantic with our (almost) kid-free time and I told her that IS our version of romance 😉

It's another lazy day for me here with only one child. I am going to get some painting done around here while I can.

In other news, I am supposed to meet my Dad for breakfast tomorrow with the baby. We haven't seen each other or spoken in over a year. He sent me a pic of the tattoo he got of Bea's initials, but he has not met her yet. Should be interesting.

lfig Don't beat yourself up. You already have so much to be aware of with Sierra's health, you can't possibly anticipate everything. That's what the docs and specialists are for. I am hoping the surgery will be just the thing to help her sleep! 🤞

Random, but at the bridal shower this weekend, one of the moms said her son was getting his wisdom teeth out because of his sleep apnea.  I thought it was weird that wisdom teeth could affect it.  The more you know.

Ob was very breezy about the Zika questions I had. He said to check the CDC website for the specific island we're going to and as long as the resort sprays (they do) I should be fine.

I found the bed bath and beyond so that's one errand done. Going home to put out fires caused by a driver. He missed his delivery time since his truck is broke down and didn't bother to tell us.. lovely. Broker is flipping out.

Got a call from my dad last night saying he's he was at the hospital because they think he had a small stroke. CT scan was fine but they're doing MRI today so they can get a better look.

My sister and I visited and he looks and sounds great, said he still has numbness in his arm so fingers crossed that's not a lingering deficit.
