Just finished reading the 4th of July blinds. My brain hurts. I went through them yesterday. The first two were juicy. After the first couple of pedophile/abuse ones, I just started skimming and If I didn't know the people, I didn't read them. From the comments, I think that saved me from reading a lot of dark ones. Cher's drunken comments were the best thing about that thread. LOL |

We got the brakes fixed on both cars and a new set of tires. Now we just need new windshields on both cars but everytime I want to schedule an appt I get hit with another rock. It's a never ending cycle.
Birthday dinner for me and SD tonight even though it isn't for a few weeks. But mh will be gone so this is our only chance.

Hi guys!! I didn’t check in yesterday because I was mildly hungover from a fun forth of July! We’re going out to dhs work to meet him for lunch and then just hanging out at home. It’s 115 today so inside or in the pool is a must.
And, you guys. I feel so stupid. I got scammed. This woman posted on our neighborhood Facebook page that her niece was in art school and working on her portfolio, so she was doing sketches for people for $12 if she could include them. I thought it would be sweet to get dh a sketch of our dog that just passed and she seemed legit and our group usually screens people pretty well. Totally sent her $12 and then she blocked me. <insert facepalm> so stupid, but it sounds like I’m not the only one who fell for it. My bank reversed the charge, so not a huge deal, but still. And now dhs bday is next week and my one gift is a bust!

trtlcrzy hope the virus passes quickly. peachsmama hope the burn isn’t too bad. Did he come home? Packing 6 people and a dog for a week at the beach is more work than I thought. Good thing it rained today, we were supposed to go to my sister’s pool and I never would finish if we had been there.

E and I were suppose to go visit C at his work today but the guy deciding on his promotion will be touring his store so we will be going another day instead. I'm waiting to hear back from my cousin who is visiting on when she would like to meet E. Besides that it's suppose to be 115 degrees today so we are staying inside. cagoldi hope your air conditioners work in this heat. If not, you are welcome over here. Thank you! The electrician is there now upgrading stuff so hopefully that means we'll be able to run all the portable units tonight. Fingers crossed! |

Morning.
We had Dude's graduation. He was so excited.
I was supposed to take my mom and P out to visit my grandma this weekend but she passed away this morning. Most likely the trip is off unless my mom feels like she wants to go tie up any loose ends.
I'm getting a pedicure because I had to, I guess. My mom told me my feet looked terrible LOL.

James Dean faked his death and he actually just died in Canada in a car accident in April. Someone found a pic and it looks almost exactly like him, too. Tgif! My days are all mixed up. Trying to knock out items before the end of the day since my boss is out next week and N has a transition to her new school which is quite elaborate (I go with her for the first half day, then a half day solo, then 9-3), so I'll be useless next week.
It's going to be gorgeous this weekend, so hoping to be outside for most of it🤞

I’ve typed out what I’m dealing with workwise no less than ten times. I is mostly positive, but hard non the less. So here we go. I’ve been told yesterday that my new job pays a lot less than both my current ones (as opposed to earlier statements). I can give a little, but not that much. There’s a personal connection involved in this job.
The job that I’ve been let go of due to reorganisations told me yesterday, that they think they found and opening and really really really want to bring me along to the new place. I love it there, but they don’t have enough hours.
And I just found out I have a job interview coming Tuesday.
My head hurts....
ETA eta just to clarify, I also have my ‘old old’ job, the one I’ve had since forever and thank got haven’t officially quit yet.

I had to go to my lawyers office today to sign some papers for the closing. They have an office dog named Freddie. He's 12 years old, his tongue permanently sticks out and he's partially deaf. I felt so hard in love. I really miss having a dog in the house.

My sister flew back to Norway today, my parents took dd and ds with them to the airport drop her off. Ds broke down when she left, my mom said it was heartbreaking, it took 45 minutes to calm him down and that he was genuinely upset that he didn’t know when he would see her again and he would miss her so much.

She slept about 2-3 hours at a time and went down quickly after change and feeding. So really well. |

nam2013 is there any way to negotiate better pay? Especially since they gave you the wrong pay rate at the interview?
