1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3 weeks, 6lbs13oz as of this morning 2. Symptoms/milestones: just a lot of gas on his part 3. Appointments: had one with the postpartum nurse this morning. Have another in 2 weeks. As mentioned in the randoms, he didn't gain as much weight as she would have liked (22g a day versus 33g last appointment) so I have to start making sure he's eating every 3-4 hours. We're going to make some lactation cookies tomorrow and I have permission to have 4 a day 😆 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? Good :-) I'm just totally in love 💘 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? 6. Show us the baby/babies!

I think mrsweasley was the last but not least so yes! 1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 8 weeks, hasn’t been weighed in a while but gorgeous chunky legs let us know she’s gaining well enough. 2. Symptoms/milestones: She’s much more alert and keen on eye contact now, and quite good st self-settling thankfully. Day naps are harder to get. 3. Appointments: Nothing now, just enjoying not being at the dr or OB so much! 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? PP is all fine, no more bouts of mastitis (touch wood). Newborn life is lovely, she’s a better sleeper than my first (and I’m a better mummy so I can sort some things easier and earlier) so we’re enjoying our 2 girls. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? It’s the whole package isn’t it: brownies, cheese and antipasto, champagne! 6. Show us the baby/babies! Tummy time turned into an early bed time last night after a big day. POOF

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 10 weeks tomorrow. About 10lbs I think. 2. Symptoms/milestones: she discovered her feet yesterday...just kept staring at them. Lots of talking going on too. 3. Appointments: lots of appts next week to address all the issues we are having post tongue tie revision. Follow up w dentist, chiropractor, Speech eval, CST and lactation. I dread all the appts but i also want to get all these issues resolved 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? It’s been a rough go for me. E is a harder baby plus all the feeding issues we are having. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? So simple but I love pigs in a blanket 6. Show us the baby/babies!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? - 3 weeks tomorrow. Size 1 diapers but still newborn clothes. 2. Symptoms/milestones: baby acne for J. Nipple vasospasms for me, ugh. 3. Appointments: we both have appointments in two weeks. 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? - I’m still bleeding which I’m tired of. Other than that it’s going well. Had a couple hormonal days of crying & way short tempered with DS1, but other than that adjusting smoothly. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? - rotel dip. 6. Show us the baby/babies! ((poof))

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 8 weeks yesterday. Estimating about 13.5 lbs, almost in 3-6 mo clothes 2. Symptoms/milestones: Projectile vomiting is back. Hoping it’s from the heat and not because I need to cut out all dairy/something else. 3. Appointments: 2 month on Friday 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? Much easier than with my first. I’ve been exercising since my PP visit and I’m feeling good. We’re struggling most in the adjustment with the 3 yo; the baby is a breeze. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? I love dips (buffalo chicken, 7 layer, guacamole, etc) with chips. 6. Show us the baby/babies! *poof*

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 7 weeks. Probably between 11&12 pounds 2. Symptoms/milestones: lots of smiles and chatting 3. Appointments: I think her two month is in to weeks 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? More good days than bad and much of it depends on the night before. O and I have started going on a short morning walk while L naps and H is getting ready for work. I need to start doing some real exercise. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? Things that are easy to grab when walking by-chips with dip, pretzels, cookies, etc. 6. Show us the baby/babies!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 3.5 weeks. I can’t believe she’ll be 4 weeks on Monday. It’s flying by. Probably around 9.5-10lbs. 2. Symptoms/milestones: Gassy for her. Anxiety for me today but in general that’s much better. My MIL swears she saw a social smile but I’m not convinced. 3. Appointments: PP check for me next Thursday and 1 month visit for F the week after. 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? It’s a mixed bag. We’ve had a lot of family around and DH has been off work a lot. Next week will start to be getting back to normal life and I’m a little scared. Also we need to get going on a lot of moving stuff since we’re moving in a month and a half and I’m stressed about that. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? Anything sweet. Brownies, cake, pie, etc. 6. Show us the baby/babies!

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 6 weeks today, probably around 9lbs and 22” 2. Symptoms/milestones: bouts of reflux at night so hard to put to sleep. Starting to get used to having us pick her up everytime she cries a bit, because we don’t want to wake up DD1. I feel we are setting us up for failure with sleep training 🙄 3. Appointments: Me on Monday for my PP check. Her next Friday for the early 2 months so that the vaccines have time to take effect before we fly back home end of the month. 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? Recovery is going fine. I still feel my stitches in the sense that it feels tense and stretched down there. My right nipple is finally a bit better, the milk bleb is almost gone and BF is more efficient again. Newborn life per say is ok, adding toddler life on too of it is hard though 😂 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? I love the apps. Give me all the guacamole and little finger foods. 6. Show us the baby/babies! Working on those neck muscles !

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 10 weeks, I’m guessing both in the high 11 pounds?
2. Symptoms/milestones: both are smiling like crazy and stsrt No to make noises.
3. Appointments: will weigh them in 3 weeks
4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? Physically, I’m starting to do long walks with them. It’s quite the workout with a double stroller! Adjusting to a family of 3 has its easy and more difficult days.. I have a social worker who comes 4 afternoons a week, which helps tremendously. I’m counting down the days to our holiday where we can get out of the city and nun H will be around to help more.
5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? Hmm.. I always gravitate towards cheese and veggies. Does alcohol count? 😂

. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? 2 weeks and 4 days. On her two week appointment she gained back her birth weight that she lost plus some. She is now 7 lbs, 13oz. 2. Symptoms/milestones: she makes the goofiest faces and smiles. She is a lot more alert now. Sometimes when she wakes up she is content looking around and not necessarily eating right away. 3. Appointments: We go back in a couple of weeks for her one month. 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? Being not pregnant is SO much easier for me than being pregnant. All my symptoms disappeared the day I gave birth. No more snoring, heartburn, nausea, leg cramps, carpal tunnel. I was a mess at the end of pregnancy. 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? Probably dips. I love them with chips. 6. Show us the baby/babies

1. How old is baby? Any stats you want to share? Baby is 5 weeks, 3 days. Last Friday she weighed 8lbs 6 Oz so I'm hoping she is in the high 8's. We have been at our vacation home in AZ this week so I imagine her weight gain may be less since it's so hot here. 2. Symptoms/milestones: baby had her first flight last Friday and second one will be later today. 3. Appointments: Monday for her 1 month checkup 4. How is your postpartum recovery & adjusting to newborn life going? It was so hard being down here and not being able to go in the pool. We bought a rnp the first night we got down here so she has been sleeping well at night. I'm terrified for when we start to transition her to a crib; we've been trying to put her in a crib for naps and its been an utter fail so far. Any STM's have advice on making the transition? 5. GTKY: what’s your favorite party food? Mini desserts!! That way you can try more 😉 6. Show us the baby/babies!

larzhope we just broke all the shitty habits we had formed when we sleep trained at 4.5 months, worked fine for us. So I am not too worried about it with DS this time.

I’d worry about getting good sleep first. My DD slept in the RnP until about 6 months. We then bit the bullet and chose a long weekend to transition to PnP in our room (then later to the crib).

larzhope, clarification if you want LO sleeping in her crib I'd focus on it during daytime naps. Do not give up night time sleep now. Do not.

I am totally kicking the RNP problem down the road. Right now we’re all sleeping and that’s all I care about. I figure I will probably address it when we sleep train. DD slept in the PNP happily from day 1 so no experience but that’s how we broke other shitty sleep habits.

Thanks guys. She is sleeping like a champ in the rnp. I'm mostly nervous because we have a few hotel nights in our future which will mean crappy sleep for everyone. I am leaving on Thursday to visit family in Michigan and thankfully put out a fb call out and found an acquaintance from high school who is letting me borrow her rnp while I'm there. My mom keeps telling me she will just go buy a pack n play. I told her she can buy it, because I'm sure we will use it when larzmini is older but I'm using the rnp!
