It’s okay where near hurricane flooding but it came fast. Lots of street flooding and people trapped in cars.

Hello! We are in Gainesville at my aunts. Went to some fireworks last night. And my other aunt just got here to hang out and spend the 4th with us. Should be a good day. We also went to a gigantic splash pad this morning. The kids had a blast.  Have a good trip guster ! Shout out to G'ville! Those are my old stomping grounds  Happy 4th! |

Took Cadence to watch the parade, mostly she just bitched about how long it was taking. She ran into a friend at the park, so she was happy after that. Came home, grilled some hot dogs and now Cadence and mh are in the pool while I hang out inside in the ac.

When I signed myself today I was down 2# from last week. Just normal flux but felt good to see. Then I went to water aerobics and bought fireworks. We might go watch an airshow later and fireworks from the backyard after dark. I should be napping but I'm in the blinds today

We might go watch an airshow later and fireworks from the backyard after dark. I should be napping but I'm in the blinds today I've successfully spent my flight in the blinds thread. |

chrisy01 is it possible she is still confused about day and night? Maybe try to keep her up more during the day... She was up all day yesterday. After researching. I think she was over tired. We are just going to follow her sleep pattern until she is consistently sleeping then we will try to get her to sleep more at night versus day. |

Happy 4th! We might go to a parade or events at the post. Yesterday was when our city does their big fireworks display so we watched it last night. It's nice because you can be up late then sleep in today when everyone is off. Cass got 2 sheriff star stickers and I didn't realize for a while that she stuck them in my boobs like pasties and was walking around like that. On your boobs or her boobs? |

I think tuna melts are delicious. I like them on toasted buttered rye with Swiss, tomato and red onion, but someone on this board told me to try them on raisin bread, and it's an awesome variation, especially with a smoked Gouda. @nam I make them whole wheat and at the moment with a sorry excuse for cheese... normally I make them with real cheddar. The raisin bread sounds really good! I always used to have them on sourdough with sharp cheddar, tomato, and avocado. |

On our way to FIL's. He lives right behind the college and that's where the city does their firework display, so it's perfect.
We spent the morning on the trail and according to today's weigh-in I'm only four pounds heavier than when I was right before I got pregnant with P.

Oh! I forgot to mention, this morning when we were waiting for the parade to start an Apple maps vehicle drove by us. They don’t have street view currently but whenever they get it I’ll be seeing if we’re on it!

Hi!
Phew. I am beat but it was a successful party, and the beauty of everyone having little kids is that they had all cleared out by 7:45 or so. We did sparklers at the end, which the kids loved (they are technically illegal here but I found some contraband 😬)
We just finished cleaning up so now I need to pack for myself; kids are all set so we will hit the road tmrw at 5.

tgrimes How are you? Can we get a check in Sorry. We made it to my in laws and now everyone is home asleep. Once the rain stopped the water started to recede. I think they said the streets were made for 1 inch per hour and we got 4 per hour in some spots or sum shit. Crazy day. |
