Hi. We asked people to come over b/n 2-3 so I have until then to get my house whipped into shape and get myself and the kids packed. Kids are excited for "America's birthday party".

B is currently wanting to do a science experiment so clearly the spiel about not making extra messes, etc. really made an impression.

Ha flamingo, I told Colin the other day that it was America's birthday. He looked at me like I was nuts!!

Good morning. We are going to DH’s friend’s house today. They have a built in pool and last night I tried on my bathing suits and it didn’t go well. I had to run to Target and though it was pretty wiped out, I found one. We are going away Saturday so I probably need to find at least one more by then.

Morning ladies! Hope the BBQ is great and the kids cooperate with keeping messes to a minimum!

I got sunburnt yesterday...I put more sunblock on (at least I thought) yesterday than I usually use in an entire season. I don't think the aerosols work as good as lotion, so I need to be so much smarter about it today. At least Evie didn't get burnt too.

We are going to my dad's pool then home late in the afternoon to do fireworks here.

Morning! Happy 4th of July! We are on our way downtown to walk in the 5k. There is a parade following. Then we are going to the ILs house for lunch. Then I have to work the rest of the day, but at least I get paid time and a half. I should have a beautiful display of fireworks on my drive home.

Happy 4th! We Are going to my parents for a BBQ. I need to make a taco pizza and pack up a bunch of stuff my parents are taking up north for us next week.

Going to a Barre class shortly and then heading to my mom's for the parade and then will take j to the fireworks. The newspaper staff is marching in the parade, so that will be hard to see. I'm debating being in the parade with a friend's gf who is running for state Senate, she asked for people to walk on fb, so would like to help, so maybe n and I will do that and the boys watch since j doesn't seem interested.

Morning! Everyone is still sleeping. Im sure I just jinxed it and they’ll be up any minute. We had a fun night at friends last night. Today we’re going to my parents to hangout at the lake. Looks like its supposed to rain from 1pm on tho which stinks. Hopefully it’s just scattered storms so we can still be outside most of the day.

Last night MH & I were asleep by 9:30. We’re real party animals. I’ve been awake since 6 enjoying my coffee in peace and quiet.

I have 2 freezer meals to make for daycare lunches and I want to scrub the floor. I think it’s supposed to rain all day. Bummer.

I'm at work and swamped. So many little projects/meetings happening, decisions need to be made so I'll be spending my day doing that.

Ds was up most of the night for god knows what reason, he finally fell asleep around 5 and then slept till 9... He is a grumpy mess today. My sister flew in yesterday and since I have the day off on Wednesday we took the kids to the small lake/play area I’ve told you guys about before. Tuna melts tonight, can’t wait!

nam2013 My co worker bought a box bike last week like you have!!!!!!!!! He cannot stop raving about it! They've recently put in bike lanes downtown in my city and he is loving it so much.

We might go to a parade or events at the post. Yesterday was when our city does their big fireworks display so we watched it last night. It's nice because you can be up late then sleep in today when everyone is off.

Cass got 2 sheriff star stickers and I didn't realize for a while that she stuck them in my boobs like pasties and was walking around like that.

We are headed to the Cape in an hour. We will stay overnight tonight and come back tomorrow. I can’t wait to see C!

So E slept for 3 hours then was up for 6 hours and is still sleeping at 3 hours. My body has gotten use to only sleeping for 3 so I'm up 😭

I think tuna melts are delicious. I like them on toasted buttered rye with Swiss, tomato and red onion, but someone on this board told me to try them on raisin bread, and it's an awesome variation, especially with a smoked Gouda.

We're home today. Just us. I made a pasta salad and a cucumber/blueberry salad for tonight, too. We'll do some burgers and dogs to round it all out.
It's nice and quiet. We're listening to
old songs and have been in and out of the pool all morning.

Hello! We are in Gainesville at my aunts. Went to some fireworks last night. And my other aunt just got here to hang out and spend the 4th with us. Should be a good day.

We also went to a gigantic splash pad this morning. The kids had a blast.

I make them whole wheat and at the moment with a sorry excuse for cheese... normally I make them with real cheddar. The raisin bread sounds really good!
