I just asked LO if he would like to come home. He said not yet. I'm glad he's having fun but I think I need him to come home...

I thought Martha was perking up, but got home today and poor girl is all stuffy and is now choking on phlegm sporadically. I made a steam room for her to sit in for a bit and she's now asleep wrapped in a blanket on my bed.
She's still eating both wet and dry food, so I'm not super concerned, but I may call the vet tomorrow if it gets any worse.

I seriously hate bedtime. This kid is being such a brat lately it's ridiculous. It's 10 o'clock and you are 4, you should be asleep!!!

Will she take a paci? I’m sorry for the rough night. I haven't tried one yet. The hospital discouraged me from using one the first month but now I'm considering ignoring them and using one. Sweet Jesus. Wrong move hospital. Definitely ignore them. She's clearly got the nursing thing down so it's not like it's a concern that she won't learn how to nurse effectively. She's definitely just using it for comfort and not for nourishment for that length of time. |

I wasn't taking her stall tactics anymore so she called for mh. I give him 10 minutes tops, before he taps out and I have to lay down the law.

mwhip that's like my daily mode. Seriously. As far as it getting easier, it already has a little for me. I've actually got a vacuum picked out for the new house that's a lightweight stick vac so the girls can vacuum their own rooms. Cass dusts. I'm working on them doing chores to lighten my load. I never feel like there's enough time for anything. The clutter in my house was driving me insane. It doesn't help that MH doesn't "see" dirt.

klong11 does she respond to anything like "if you come out of your room one more time we're not going to xxx (the park, gymnastics, whatever) tomorrow?" Maddie can be a bedtime hell beast but she'll usually respond to that. It doesn't help that in the PNW it's light until 10 in the summer.

I'm down in Oregon at my parents. It's easier to forget about the house stress here. We went to the Enchanted Forest today which was a lot of fun. I was exhausted afterward and napped forever. Even though they kids didn't nap, went to the park, and played with the daycare kids they still have a load of energy at 8. 🤪
I started my period today and feel like death.

Maddie can be a bedtime hell beast but she'll usually respond to that. It doesn't help that in the PNW it's light until 10 in the summer. We do something similar. We take toys away and put them in toy jail. It's where he can see the toy(s) but cannot reach them. He has to earn them back by being good. |

Mh was able to get her down last night, usually she calls for him, then yells at him for being in her room. So much drama, this kid! |

Well that sucks. Buy all the pacis tomorrow! We have quite a few options at home already. I just need to sanitize them. We use the Mam ones, but newborn size...not 0-6 months. I find the extra tiny one is a much better fit for her. They are a little harder to find, but I got some at Target and Walmart. |
