MH and I saw it on Sunday. He's a huge JP fan and he loved it. I thought it was just ok, I much prefer the first Jurassic World.
Chris Pratt tho 😏

We saw it this past weekend and I thought it was a good summer flick with some fun twists. There was a ~6 year old a few seats down freaking out so I felt really bad for her.
It got great reviews in our paper, but a local movie critic slammed it. I have low expectations for most action movies, so I was not disappointed. There is a lot of dinosaur screentime which I think adds to the experience. I think it was a great date movie.

We saw it on Sunday and enjoyed. It was very predictable, but that’s the nature of Jurassic Park. Growing up on the original movies, it’s always fun to see the dinosaurs (and see the bad guys get eaten.)

I went to a late night showing by myself because I had enough left on a gift card for one ticket and I couldn’t sleep.
I was hoping for better. It wasn’t too bad but I think I prefer the first one. I did really like the little girl and I’m not usually a fan of the kids in these movies.
I teared up quite a bit. There were several scenes that were really hard to watch.
Loved Chris Pratt, as always. I also really enjoyed the vet and the IT guy (can’t remember their names)
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in the next film now with that ending!

My H and I watched it today. I enjoyed it overall, mainly because I just enjoy all of the Jurassic Park movies. But my big question was what about Isla Sorna (Site B)? It factored heavily in both Jurassic Park: Lost World and Jurassic Park III, yet there has been no mention of it in either Jurassic World movie. It wouldn't have bothered me except for all the talk at the beginning about how all the dinos were going to be gone once the island blew. So what happened to the other island full of dinosaurs??
Also my one other nitpick was with the writing. Some of the decisions that the characters made were dumber than usual, lol. Like I didn't get why Owen would say they needed to make sure the Indo Raptor (I think that's what it was called?) didn't leave that house, then he rushed in there and beat everyone up and broke up the auction....and then he just left the dinosaur in the cage in the middle of the room with other bad guys around. It was just a weird situation.
