flamingo I stopped swim lessons with E for now. He is getting more out of just swimming without a floaty than he was at lessons. I think it is kind of tough ay this age with lessons because the curriculum is set and it isn't easy to adjust kids up or down. But we are going to the pool enough for him to advance his skills. Also they don't teach underwater swim at our pool and I feel like that is the next big step for E.

Hey. I worked this morning at the garden center and it rained pretty much the whole time. I was soggy by the end of my shift. Luckily I was able to be under the roof most of the time. Then I took the girls to H’s swimming lessons. The rain has cleared up about an hour before so they were able to go into the water, although it was overcast and 69 degrees so I wouldn’t have wanted to be swimming. H has a doctor appt in 30 minutes so I need to go get S up from nap and get everyone ready to go.

To all you that requested stories, nothing too crazy. We have a 110 year old house with lots of "quirks" so sometimes I'm not sure what's the house and what's something in the house. But
1) When S was a baby, he used to talk to 1 specific corner of his room. ALL. THE. TIME. Like full animated conversations, always at the same corner. As he's gotten older he's mentioned something about someone being in his room, but he was not scared, just like there was a monster there but he was just hanging out. He would then describe the monster, usually very colorful. He did this nightly for about a year, and stopped about 4 or 5 months ago.
2) I mentioned above, but I see flashes of light on the monitor swirling around above S bed at night time. I do not see these anywhere else in the house.
3) I have been woken up out of a deep sleep hearing someone yell "MOMMY!" Both kids were sound asleep. This happened a lot, at the same time that S was telling me the monster was in his room.
4) We redid our kitchen when I was pregnant with S. Prior to this, we had accumulated a ton of house reno magazines and had them on a shelf in the kitchen along with a few other things. MOTN I hear the loudest bang you've ever heard, when I go downstairs, the contents of that shelf were thrown all over the floor. Like very forcibly thrown as if to say "FU, don't mess with my kitchen!"
There are tons of other things but these are the ones that come to mind.

Also, shortly after we moved in, we mentioned this to our neighbor, who had been friendly with the older couple who lived in our house, and she said "Oh, you met ___" And said that the lady had named the ghost b/c it was always around (I wish I could remember the name she said)

jewels I don’t like staying with ppl either... they don’t like clutter so it’s generally tidy- but some areas of their house are just gross (bathroom & fridge) I just called to track the PODs (it’s actually Upack) and they said I needed to schedule the delivery! I was not told that and was under the impression that they would deliver when they got here. So they said they will try to drop them by tomorrow...... I had been told projected delivery date would be June29-July2. Worst types of dreams cagoldi 😞 I hate how it leaving a lasting feeling even though it wasn’t real. xolastunicornxo I’m behind! Who had HFM?? It was a board wide epidemic! You me and snoopmommymom!! 😫 Great news for the house inthekitty!!! peachsmama What fridge is it??? We had our eye on a really nice fridge for a while.

Looks like a great day cagoldi ! jewels I could probably dismiss the kids-talking-to-corners and seeing things on the monitor but the noise/mess in the kitchen and hearing someone yell "mommy" would push me over the edge. I guess it's not really a malicious presence? I don't know much about these things. I do believe they exist, however. |

Counting down the minutes left at work. It’s been a busy week and I’m finally caught up.
I need to stop at and get a bottle of wine for a friend and then get the kids and be home before my babysitter comes at 4:30. Then I’m heading to dinner with some girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. Excited for some good food and wine. But I looked at the menu online and nothing stands out.. . Boo.
Off tomorrow and working a half day Friday so it sort of feels like my Friday which is wonderful.
