First, congratulations!
You can definitely wash everything together. They'll be at two different snaps settings, which might be minorly annoying when you're in the middle of diapering a squirmy kiddo. I kept my DD2 in NB diapers for a long time for that reason and then DD1 PTed right as we were moving DD2 to OS, but my plan was to use different brands of diapers for each, so that it would be easy for me to grab the right diaper the first time. Or store them in separate bins.
For laundry, you may need to increase detergent, or run time or both to accommodate for the extra load size, but you can see what happens once you're doing the larger diaper loads.
I have lots of NB diapers to unload, but I have sucked at getting them posted. I would give someone a huge discount to come to my house and buy all my excess diapers. Hopefully I will post them before you give birth to #2.

^^WSS
I'd probably keep 2 seperate stashes just so you are not constantly changing the snap settings, but wash everything together.
I'll have tons of newborn diapers to de-stash in a couple of months.

What everyone else already said is what I would say. Snaps are the biggest thing. Congratulations!

When I had #2 the diapers #1 used had stretched elastic around the legs, so they didn't fit well. And congrats and welcome!

I plan to just keep my NB separate pre bum, but wash them all together.

Baby number 1 might surprise you and potty train early too! That could be a possibility to keep in mind anyway. Certainly not that you should plan for that. I was just surprised when I was all of a sudden done with diaper laundry.

I'm glad to find this thread as well. We are not currently expecting but are TTC #3 and we have one in cloth (16 months). I had been wondering how things work when you have more than one in cloth! We do have some NB from when our daughter was born, so that should help for a little bit
