Who took my baby? He just STTN. First food, and now sleep. Holy cow. We are usually up with him several times, he has been a terrible sleeper, so an uninterrupted night is huge.
We have a bday party for our niece today. Was supposed to be a pool party but has been moved to a roller rink due to rain. Not thrilled. Plus it is 2 hours away.

cythe Hahaha - that is exactly me when baby sleeps extra long. Then I end up checking on him to make sure he’s breathing and wake him up accidentally. 😩 This weekend is lame. DS1 is contagious with HFM, so we can’t go anywhere (I don’t want to get any other kids sick). DS2 is teething, so he’s kind of been a grump. Good side is that we watched Moana today, both kids are now asleep, and I have a bubble face mask on. It’s actually pretty scary looking. I’m waiting for DH to return to the bedroom so I can freak him out.

I did not wake up MOTN. I woke up with rock hard leaking boobs around 5:30. Made sure the monitor indicated breathing and dozed off and on until 6ish when he stirred and started to fuss. I haven't had that much undisturbed sleep since before he was born. I got about 7.5 straight hours of sleep!! 👍

DD2 did not sleep through the night - she sleeps terrible at my parents so usually I just bring her back in bed with me. I am not a cosleeper but we made it work last night.
It’s still raining here so we are taking the girls to an indoor playplace today. DD1 loves all the attention and I love the extra hands to help entertain and watch the girls.

H didn’t get home til 1am and I can’t sleep when I know he’s driving that late at night across the city. Then DS1 came in our room at 5:30 saying it’s morning time. I’m taking him to get a gift for the party now. Will probably just do a gift card to target.

He peeks out his windows to check for any sign of daylight. And we’ve been trying to convince him it’s ok to grab his iPad and watch in bed if we are sleeping.

Wow amazing that all those babies slept through the night. That is not happening here. Taitai FX for a mild case of HFM, I hope it passes quickly. At the IL’s it’s raining like crazy so no plans to do anything right now. Sleep is messed up due to the time zone change.

Date night tonight. We're also doing by Target while we're out. I think I'm just as excited about going to Target sans DS1 as I am about the wine bar, lol.

We figured out that DS1 actually has herpangina, which is similar to HFM, but only causes blisters in the mouth (at the back of the throat. DS1 seems totally fine and has been acting normal since Saturday, and the doctor said we could send him to school on Monday - as long as he doesn’t have a fever. I really hope the baby doesn’t get it. Still keeping the kids separated as much as possible and separating toys. I’ll be soooo glad once DS1 doesn’t have any more blisters in his mouth. At least it doesn’t seem to be bothering him. So that’s the bright side I guess 🤷♀️
