It is rainy here and today's high is only supposed to be 76.
I have zero to do at work today and my boss told me that she knows I'll do what needs to be done so if I want to go get Faith from day care to spend time with her that she doesn't care. My plan is to spend the late morning going to Costco and the grocery store, stopping by Chick-fil-a for lunch (a new one opened up near Costco that is close to us, YEAH!!!) and putting the groceries away. Then I will probably go get Faith so I can snuggle with her or at least get her a good afternoon nap in so that she doesn't sleep from the minute she gets home until we put her to bed.
We are trying to find some friends to go out to dinner with us this weekend... Even in the summer everyone's schedules are so hard to coordinate.

Hi! I had a very rough start to the day. I’m hoping the rest of the day is better. The baby wouldn’t fall asleep for his morning nap. The helmet makes him extra tired so all he did was whine and cry for an hour and a half. On top of that, G was being super clingy and annoying. The baby finally fell asleep just before 9 but was up at 9:30 when my phone rang. I just fed him again and he is already yawning. I may lay him down again. I have to work tonight. Other than that, no plans for today.

Good Morning- happy Friday everyone! I am guessing everyone is busy with summer, it has been quiet here the past few days! DS has had a rough few days because his front two teeth are still coming in. I hope this doesn't last too much longer, I feel so bad for him! He has been fine at night (knock on wood) but you can tell they are bothering him a lot during the day. It looks so cute to see little teeth in his mouth though but it does make him look older! I can't believe he already has two, he's just over 4 months.

I'm currently sitting in the walk-in clinic with DD. I've had a sore throat for over a week, and she's been a snotty mess for a week and a half. Hopefully we can sort out what this is and both feel better soon.

Happy Friday! We officially get the keys to the new house in a week! I feel good with where I am packing wise and we have everything figured out with the townhouse in regards to cleanings. I just need to pay all the reminding bills for this place and close them out. I also would like to meal plan with all the food we have to avoid eating out, at least this week!

Currently pumping in my living room hopefully the plumbers working in the next room won't need to come talk to me. It's not a big deal I just don't want them to feel awkward.

pinkcat DD1 started getting teeth at 4 months too and was all done by 18 months. It’s a lot of work all at once BUUUT was also nice she was just done with it so early and it wasn’t a stretched out process! But GL and all the sleeping and low pain vibes to you if that’s going to be how he does it too!

Thanks everyone! He isn’t loving it but today he wore it for 8 hours. They are working up to full 23 hours slowly. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be all day and some of the night. His first two teeth have almost popped through though.

We hv a busy weekend of older kid sports and bday parties.
Baby had a dr appt this week, bit behind on the 4 month appt, she’s 5% for weight and 95% for height. I have little baby history so the 5th percentile doesn’t worry me but I was surprised by her height.
I commented how all our naps are 20 minutes. This could be a fluke but she’s having her first crib nap and it’s been 2 hours and still going! She’s even moving around the crib like night time and not waking up. I think I might faint!

Thanks for the thoughts ladies. It looks like regular old colds for us, so we just have to keep doing what we're doing and watch for fevers. Hopefully we can kick it soon!

Ughhh... we are camping until tomorrow evening and I forgot my pump bra. As an EPer this REALLY sucks. Now I can't use that time to catch up on here. Boo. Fx that my toddler will fall asleep soon. It's after 11 and he's still talking to himself.

Yesterday was a big day for this baby - first she took part of her nap in her crib for the first time 🙌🏻, and then she rolled over finally! Twice, from belly to back! And the nap motivated me to start trying again to transition to pack n play (instead of rnp) for bedtime. She did the first 3 hours flat, but then refused to be put back down in it. But still. Progress!
