I’m home! It took about an hour longer than it should have because potty stops. I am hiding out in my room for a bit before I start supper. S napped for like 2 hours in the car but H didn’t and she has the attitude to show for it. Hopefully she will conk out quickly for DH tonight while I’m at work. Happy birthday kim22!

Of course Dh missed his train. After I took my pain pill. Hope C likes a loopy mom! Oh no! My mom was able to stay about an hour and help me with bathtime. So I just need to get through another hour until bed.

wedding...and anyone else that’s seen the ENT for tonsils/adenoids (maybe cagoldi...I forget who else)... Can they tell just by looking in there if they need to come out or is there some other type of testing? Just curious of what to prepare for. I think they do a scope. Cs tonsils were so huge there was an assumption that his adenoids were too so we didn’t investigate them. tgrimes mentioned a scope though I think. They didn't do anything with X, just said based on his history it's low risk and seems appropriate to do during the ear tube surgery. He has terrible white coat syndrome and starts whimpering when we park at the doctor's so they didn't put him through an exam. Dude was scoped.

No pedicure but my hair is done, groceries were bought, and the boys are mostly packed. DH and I even got some alone time this afternoon before picking up the boys. Not a bad way to end the week.

I like it because I enjoy anything TR does, but it's probably one of my least favorite releases. Although I was listening while working, so I wasn't 100% paying attention.

Anyone else’s N13 seem to have no volume control whatsoever? B is always talking so loudly. We always have to remind her that she doesn’t need to shout.

Can they tell just by looking in there if they need to come out or is there some other type of testing? Just curious of what to prepare for. B's haven't been scoped but both our pediatrician back in FL and his ENT here were able to do a physical exam and determine that his were very large. We were kind of giving him a chance to grow b/c oftentimes in kids, the adenoid tissue grows more quickly than the surrounding cavity, but I don''t think that is going to be the case for him (they say the 'cut off' of when this happens is around age 5). We go back in August and pretty sure the ENT will tell us--and I agree--that it's time for B's adenoids to come out. (We haven't had issues with tonsils so I am hoping they can stay put, since that seems to be what makes the recovery so crappy). I suspect he also has obstructive sleep apnea, and he has several other symptoms--snoring, occasional mouth-breathing, mild hyponasal quality to his voice--that make me think the adenoids coming out will be a fix. I hope this will be a solution for S if this is what the ENT recommends.

Nothing like the 4 year old saying she's going to shoot me while she tantrums about going to bed. Considering we allow absolutely no gun play or gun talk, this is a bit of a shock. I know she is obviously getting it from school, but I'm not happy about it in the slightest.

With B they said they were most likely bad and they could do the scope or just do it when he was already under for the tubes. I chose not to do the scope and to just remove them.

LJ almost got my eye this morning with her claws. She doesn't seem to have been taught appropriate play behaviors as a kitten and thus, she scratches and bites. I was just petting her this morning when she got me. Cadence and I are headed to kittypalooza tomorrow after swim class. We are going to see what kittens are up for adoption. Wondering if a kitten that will play with her will help with some of LJ's social issues. ....yes, I am a cat lady and I'm ok with that. Could she be overstimulated? One of our clinic cats could only handle a small amount of petting before he would get overstimulated and scratch or bite. I liked to get him worked up for fun. He was the best. I don't think so. I think she's understimulated and probably bored. She will grab at your feet if you walk by, when we are reading books at bedtime she attacks the books and tries to rip them up....she's just quirky. LOL

A and I met up with my sister, BIL and 6 day old niece at a brewery today! They were so nervous the whole time even though my niece did great. It brought back memories of being a first time parent to a newborn! They kept saying they were shocked at how chill A was. I kept reminding them that he's 3 months old, not less than a week. Plus, he's my most easy going baby by FAR.
