Morning from the office. My cold hasn't budged but at least I feel human today.
I'm only in the office for about another hour before leaving early for a hair appointment and maybe a pedicure if I can squeeze it without getting home too late. I need to pack up myself and the boys, preferably before I pick them up from daycare. Hmm, I should probably grocery shop too, since Colin wants to try out his new bike on the trail tonight. So probably no pedicure, boo!

I'm not feeling very motivated to actually work so I'm online shopping...for winter gear..LOL me. The North Face winter coat that I've been drooling over is now half price..NOW it's mine! And both kids need new winter coats, they grow so fast!

Morning! It's been pouring rain here for two days and I am over it. Hauling 3 kids and a car seat in and out of the rain 3 times a day is NOT fun. Not to mention the parking lot is packed for camp, so there are not spots close to the entrance. I am simultaneously happy and nervous that today is their last day of camp.
We've got a busy weekend, do I am hoping to get a jump start on baking, cleaning, packing up the kids so it does not all pile up on me. SIL is bringing dinner tonight, God love her!

LJ almost got my eye this morning with her claws. She doesn't seem to have been taught appropriate play behaviors as a kitten and thus, she scratches and bites. I was just petting her this morning when she got me.
Cadence and I are headed to kittypalooza tomorrow after swim class. We are going to see what kittens are up for adoption. Wondering if a kitten that will play with her will help with some of LJ's social issues.
....yes, I am a cat lady and I'm ok with that.

Hello. I just went to 2 Babies R Us stores in hopes of getting a deal on a convertible car seat but I waited too long and they only have infant carriers. I did score a jogging stroller for $68 so I’m hoping to next score some motivation to jog (but if not, it has great wheels to lug our stuff to the beach.
In a few minutes, I’m heading to the final clap out for my oldest from 5th grade. Later DD has gymnastics then we will go to dinner for my birthday. Tomorrow DD has her spa party and she is so excited. Good ending to a tough week.

We're really great employees I'm seriously upset that Prime Day is starting on a Monday instead of a Tuesday. I don't work Mondays. How am I supposed to devote my day to online shopping if not at work? I'm hoping it's some sort of nonsense like starts at 6 pm Monday and goes all day Tuesday. |

Window guy is here.
I was forced to raise hell at DC yesterday after two teachers flat out lied to me about outside play, but spoke with the director this morning and even though I'm disappointed I had to police them, satisfied they're going to be making sure this won't continue.
I'm taking my mom and sisters out to lunch soon. My sister's birthday was last week and her favorite restaurant happens to be our favorite vegan restaurant, too, even though she isn't vegan. Should be fun.

Yesterday at / therapy he actually ate a little for the therapist and she determined we do have some sensory issues and oral motor problems. He lacks the strength and coordination in his jaw and tongue to chew properly. Basically, eating solids is just really hard work for him. She wants us to introduce veggie straws at snack once each day because they will be soft enough to not require much effort and we will try to encourage him to eat them laterally, in several bites, and that should help him practice chewing and biting. That's our assignment this week. ETA: tagging sands42 since you were curious about it. |

We are taking our cat to the gsme 1st tomorrow because we keep finding watery and bloody puddles near her litter box. I'm nervous about what we will find out. Hoping it's maybe just a gland issue or treatable infection ☹🐈 I hope she's okay. |
