Nobody posted a check in yesterday, and I'm too tired to do a full one, so how about a quicky?
How old is baby? Or how far along are you?
Anything to report?

Speedy, pooping is good! Wet/dirty diapers are how they expel the bilirubin. The more he's going, the more he's expelling. A2 was 7 weeks on Tuesday. The last 10/11 days have been a completely shit show. The water line to our fridge had a pinhole leak and was spraying the walls and cabinets surrounding it for an unknown amount of time. We're in the process of fully accessing damage & fixing that. My vehicle that H picked up from the dealership two weeks ago tomorrow had to be taken back a week ago today when it wouldn't start in the driveway following errands last Wednesday. Luckily, we're friends with the head of the service department and he was able to get it in, looked at & fixed ASAP and for no charge while giving me a free loaner. We were able to pick it up today and friend assured me that I am good to make my 600 mile roundtrip road trip to pick up my brother this weekend in it. I developed mastitis, again, but it didn't present with the normal flulike symptoms, just a mass the size of a golfball on the top of my areola that then turned into an abscess. I've been on antibiotics since Monday and A2 is reacting negatively to them, so she's on probiotics directly into her belly and not just what she's getting from my intake. I had an ultrasound of it yesterday and holy shit, that hurt. But, the swelling, redness and discomfort have gone tremendously, so I just have to keep on keeping on and we'll see if we need to drain it once I'm done with antibiotics this time next week. And I think that's it... I feel like I'm forgetting something.

tinyjoys yup! Plus his poop is yellow, so that's awesome. Just not so awesome when I've just changed his wet diaper and hear the telltale wet fart 5 minutes later lol. Oh jeez, sounds like you've had a rough go of it lately. I hope things start to settle down for you soon, and that the mastitis clears up without incident.

L is 5 weeks old. She had her 1 month appointment today and is 10lbs and over 22 inches long. According to wonder weeks she's in her first leap and has barely let me put her down or anyone else hold her for two days. Hopefully the vaccine she got today means better sleep tonight. She had been doing 4 hr chunks and now we're back to 2. So tired.

Fiona is 10 days. We went to the park this morning and she slept the whole time in the Tula. I might survive the summer with the girls. She’s doing great, sleeping decently (knock on wood), and eating tons. She has a weight check, quick appointment tomorrow and I don’t think there’ll be any surprises. I am so so. My anxiety is really bad morning and night. I scheduled an appointment with my midwife for next Tuesday to talk about it. I will cancel if things seem better by then.

tinyjoys you’re done with speed bumps now. That’s rough. W is 6.5 weeks old and starting to have happy awake time rather than eat cry/spew sleep repeat, which is nice. Interestingly when W was first born she was sucking her hand and wanting to feed so much I said to H she’ll need a pacifier. It’s really helped settled her the last few days. So I’m jumping on that band wagon but scared how I’m going to wean it off her already! DD1 didn’t have one so I’m a newb about this.

J is one week old. I’m feeling spread thin meeting the needs of both kids, but sleep is relatively decent and I’m off the pain meds. ((poof pics))

adeline don’t stress about the pacifier. V had that thing in almost 24/7 at the end of his second year. We ditched it a year ago after he turned 2 and he didn’t really care. We were shocked at how well it went. And honestly, even if it had been a fight, it would have been worth it for the two years of comfort it provided, especially since it helped with his wretched sleep and his biting issues.

L is 6 weeks old. He is a dream baby (FX I didn’t jinx myself) except for the projectile vomiting. SO. MUCH. VOMITING. We actually took him to the ped yesterday because he has a lot of symptoms of an allergy/intolerance. Not allergic, thankfully, but they recommended I limit my dairy intake and see how he does. Today was his fussiest day (which was still not that fussy in comparison to my older son) so I do think he’s uncomfortable. They almost laughed at me though because my baby is enormous. He vomits about a cup of liquid a day or more, and yet he’s nearly 13 lbs. I think that’s a big reason the doctor isn’t too worried, he’s clearly thriving. I still don’t want him to be in pain though. Otherwise, he’s very alert and “chatty”. He smiles when I engage with him and will “respond” after I say something to him. This is the start of the fun part, I love it. He’s also strong like his brother with a lot of head control, pushing up on his arms, and can “stand” on his chubby little legs. I think I’m going to have another early mover on my hands, but at least he seems more mellow than big brother, so maybe less trouble? Or double once they get in cahoots? Anyway I’m rambling. Pics below. *poof*

M is 4 weeks old today. She is still a very mellow baby, eats well, sleeps well and has nice awaken quiet moments. She gives us (or rather me) 2 x3-4 hours stretches at night if she is not uncomfortable from her tummy. She had a lot of gas issues beginning of the week but I found a better way to burp her and switched to gentlease formula for the small supplementing we are doing and it seems much better. Big sister is being difficult this week with lots of winning and refusing to go to sleep so hopefully that passes soon. We have M’s 1 month appointment tomorrow to check on her jaundice. I still see it in her face and eyes but it’s very very subtile so I think we will be good. @tinyjoy, that’s a hell-ish 2 weeks, hoping everything is better from now on!

E is 8 weeks old today. Crazy! She within he last 2 weeks has let me put her down in the swing or bouncer for longer periods of time and is more happy when awake now. She had her lip and tongue tie revised the other day. She smiles all the time and coos too. Super cute. Her 2 month appt is next Tuesday for vaccines and well check.

Gemma is 6 weeks today. She has started to be awake more and loves being on her activity mat. We have gotten a few smiles and it’s so sweet. Her reflux is still an issue, the Zantac helps her not scream but she is still fussy and throwing up all the time. I cut dairy out a few days ago so we will see if that helps - I had to cut it out with DS1 also when he was nursing. I don’t think I ever shared our NB pics so here’s a few ETA: to add spoiler

6 weeks old. S is still under the weather so I’m doing a lot of suctioning. DS1 is being a jerk this week between being a handful normally and having a lot of changes (we are my parent’s house, no daycare, H is away, also under the weather). I’m putting S in the rock and play at night so that he’s reclined and the mucus doesn’t clog him up but scared that he will get used to it and not want the crib anymore.
On my end, I’m trying to start working out and get into a good groove. My eating needs to improve though.
I’ve been able to stop using the nipple shield so that’s a plus.
S is probably going to bust out of the 0-3 mo clothing soon.

Fiona is 7 weeks. She is sleeping really well. She actually was giving us 7-8 hour stretches. I screwed it up last night because I tried to get her to sleep at 8:30 thinking she would still wake for her 11 feeding and then sleep all night but she ended up sleeping until 2 and then was up until 4! Tonight we’ll just let her stay up until 10-10:30, give her the last feeding and let her sleep until 7/8. She sucks on her hand a lot and I’ve tried a few pacifiers but she doesn’t want anything to do with them 🤷🏻♀️ She was over 9 pounds at her last appointment and I know she has gained since then. It was necessary to switch to formula. I was pumping a few times a day but I was literally only getting about 4 ounces TOTAL per day. It wasn’t worth the work. She goes back in 7/3 for her two month appointment.

Harper is 10 weeks today. She is becoming more happy awake, smiling and cooing. Though she also is having a preference for napping on me and not on anything else for longer than a half hour. Big sister is loving H but can be a handful for us. DH leaves for a work trip tomorrow afternoon and I'm nervous about having both girls by myself at night. Thank goodness DD1 goes to daycare. And night time feedings for H will not be fun while he's gone. I'll have to feed her, get her to sleep and then pump. Normally I pump while he handles her. I'm going to be very tired.
