My sisters cat woke me up at 5:45 with the lovely sound of puking right in my doorway. I got up to clean it right away only to discover she had left 2 other little puke piles for me. I noticed H's work clothes were on the floor so I went to move them only to grab a soaking wet pile of cat pee. I definitely wanted to be doing laundry at 6am.... I'm pretty sure she hates us. I feel bad that she's probably actually sick this time but ever since we moved in (when Nolan was born) she will randomly pee on our stuff. That sucks. I don't have a sense of smell, but from what I've read it's so hard to get the smell of cat pee out!!!

I will be Debbie Downer and say if you're going to use a puddle jumper and LO is under the weight limit, stay within arm's reach. There has been issues with kids flipping over because they weren't the proper weight.

Which way are you leaning, csho ? The 10 year old house but we haven't seen their disclosure yet. In this state, the disclosure is something like 8 pages and has everything on it.

Back at work this morning. H is fever free and was pretty happy this morning. We had friends over and stayed up too late which is a dumb thing to do on a Monday. But aside from tonight, we have a babysitter every night the rest of the week so we can go out to partake in the activities going on for the committee of the town festival. My liver is going to hate me next Monday.

From the time I was in grade school and couldn't burn down my house, my parents slept in and we fended for ourselves weekend mornings. Basically poured ourselves some cereal and plopped in front of the cartoons. I plan to do the same. I like sleep. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

chrisy01 I'm sorry about the dog. Where in OK are they buying a house? Edmonton? They have been pretty vague on details. The offer was accepted when I was on the plane. So I was the last to find out. My mom told me 2 hours into the drive to their house.

We were total schmucks yesterday and bought a timeshare. Whoops. More travel for me.

Cher , that's very exciting! Do you have family staying with you/helping? Nope. MH will go back to work pretty much immediately and I'm putting the boy in camp full-time for the first week we're home, so it will be just me and the new babe. I think it will surprise no one that we're taking our first family vacation when he's 2 weeks old, so MH will be taking off work and hanging out with us. Only you, Cher! Will you guys be flying or driving?

Can you guys give me the name of a great paperback read? A woman from work is retiring and people are filling up a tote bag with books as a present. I told MH that you were the best focus group out there and I know you'd have an answer for me. Historical fiction, well written and thrillers thing to fluffy or chick-lit driven.

Yup and I was responsible for getting my mom awake since she would sleep through her alarms. And I had to feed horses before school every day.

trtlcrzy yes. I already had it done. Do not have the funds to do it again two weeks later. I put a cover over it so it won't cut my fingers. I'll do it eventually again but I just can't deal with it right now. I almost ran Carter to the fire station. He got a toy stuck on his finger and it was purple from blood getting cut off. I was scared urgent care would take too long. Adam finally got it off and I haven't stopped crying. I'm on emotional overload right now. I just told my parents what happened and cried all over again. I need a vacation from life right now 😭 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, @goldi. I feel like I'm a first-time mom when it comes to food and sleep with this boy. I'm so sorry about Newman, @chrissy. I'm glad you get to say goodbye to him. I say that all the time. I'm far more unsure of myself with a lot of things than I was the 1st time around. It's weird

Matthew fell off the play set last night. I was sure an ER visit was next but he brushed it off okay. Then kicked the toy he fell trying to save lol.

I'm far more unsure of myself with a lot of things than I was the 1st time around. It's weird Josie was a real unicorn. The first time we had any trouble with her she was 22 months old and it lasted for about a month. 2 months into Charlie's life and we had sleep, food, and poop issues. I try to ask myself if he were my first if I would think the situation was bad and the answer is usually no. It's just that I'm comparing it to my experience with Josie which was so easy.

We booked a beach condo last night🏖️ for the end of August! I should be more excited but a little anxious/guilty bc my mom and sis are talking about going to my uncle's again, but I don't think we can swing that as well since it's pretty far. I want to do vacations with both families and our family, but there is not enough PTO to cover all that. Blerg.
