We had a rough night last night. There was just a few hour period where baby and toddler were alternating wake ups. And then H got home at 3:30am from a trip to Boston for a friend’s wedding. Gotta say, having a Sunday wedding when a lot of people are coming from out of town....Ugh. And on Father’s Day no less!

Also, looks like summer weather is here! Gonna be hot all week. Oh, this coming weekend we’re having an extended family photo shoot (for my dad’s 60th). So I’ve got to figure out what to wear. It’ll be our first one ever!

Faith woke up feeling a little better so we sent her to daycare. She hasn't run a fever so there is no real reason to keep her home and I have work to do.
This new skill of rolling over is not helping with her sleep, she isn't used to being able to get on her belly and it wakes her up and then she is pissed off about not being on her back or side and she is still half asleep and doesn't realize she can fix the problem herself. And the coughing and congestion isn't helping matters. I'll give it a few more nights and then I may move from the Swaddle Up to a sleep sack to see if that helps any.

H and the boys flew up to see his family this weekend. I orchestrated this thinking it would be great boys trip family time for them and that I’d hv a very easy breezy few days w just the baby. I was sure wrong!
She really got the most out of our one on one time. Refused sleep round the clock and replaced it with nursing!
One one hand it was good the boys were gone so I was t trying to split my attention or clean up after them but I really needed to hand her off. She’s been doing the constant nap fake out.
Good news is she slept 10-6 last night so I feel so much better. 🤞she keeps this up!

An observation, a 5 yo and 3 yo + a husband create so much mess all day. I cleaned the house Fri am after they left and it’s been sparking spotless! I miss them though. Glad they are coming home today!

aprilz81 we have had good results with the zippadee zip with my both girls. Switched from swaddle to this once they started rolling. It’s a tough 3-4 night learning curve but worked out great for at least 2 months or so after. Safe to roll and sleep in. Happy Monday! My week is sort of mixed up between a dentist appointment and my sitter is closed tomorrow. So a couple half days and WFH switches are in the mix. Baby T is starting to show more personality lately which is great. Her big sis has also started shushing everyone if the little is sleeping. It’s so cute!

Morning! This is my first weekday alone with the boys in a month since my mom was here for 4 weeks to help with B’s treatments and surgery. So far it’s going great- hope I didn’t jinx myself. A plumber is supposed to be here already though and isn’t. We leave in 2 hours to head to the surgeon’s office to get B’s catheter out and then downtown for oxygen treatment. Hoping it goes okay on my own! 🤞🏼
Baby slept well last night. Down at 7:45pm, nursed at 3:30am, up at 7:15am. I know some babies are STTN now but I’m THRILLED with only 1 wake-up!!!

Happy Monday! It’s the last week of school, and I am so ready to be done. I basically have a countdown of how many more times I will have to pump in my classroom before I never have to do it again! I’m glad I made it, but after this I’ll keep a small stash for date nights and that’s it. I did roughly 6/7 months with DS1 and that’s my plan again, so come September I will not be continuing the pumping schedule.

It's so hot and humid here that when I got out of may car (AC on low),my glasses fogged up. This was at 7:30am... Even though the AC is on at work, I feel like I'm melting with the ovens on. It's going to be a long week...

DD1 was consistently rolling both ways by 4 months and slept on her belly from then on. And +1 to all my kids sleeping better once they realized sleeping on their belly is cool.
Tried baby in the crib for a nap this morning. She fell asleep on her own, no tears, in less than 15 minutes. And she slept an hour. Yassss. Going to try and get most naps in there today and tomorrow, and then hopefully move on to night time sleep in the crib.

I'm here. DH is on another work trip until late night Thursday, and DD has a cold. Honestly we all have a cold, but hers is not helping her sleep. We put the wedge back in her crib, but it isn't helping as much as I had hoped it would. She naps for a max of 30mins in bed, and that requires multiple resootherings. When I pick her up she will pass out in my arms for 1-2hours.
I have to wake her from a lap nap to get DS from the school bus. Fingers crossed that she isn't a beast for the rest of the day because of it.

Good afternoon!
I hope everyone had a good Father’s Day. Supposed to be a hot one here this week too!
DS has his last ball game of the season tonight, in a town a little under an hour away so I’ll be prepared for early supper so we can get on the road!
Anyone else have a garden? I think about mine a lot lol. My spinach is exploding and I’m loving it, it’s the first year I’ve tried planting that.

Hi! I am here. I was at work all day. My stepmom was watching the kids. Ian pooped all over her. I feel so bad. She is fine with it but I feel bad. The baby’s crib is in my loft above my bedroom. It’s the hottest room in the house. I have my central air on and a fan in his room but it’s still very hot. I’m wondering if I should let him sleep in the pack n play in the living room until it gets a little cooler.

Kid loves his crib for naps.... nighttime is a hit or a miss.

Hello ladies! We managed to get the park early this morning and early naps for both kids. They are showing the townhouse around 3:30 and normally both kids are napping (when they nap). Fx I timed this perfectly. Big is down, little is almost there. I need to clean up a little and eat! I think I might just take the kids to the dollar store when they are showing the townhouse.

I just feel bad because it’s 90 degrees right now because his room is probably 83ish without his fan. He is sleeping in just a onesie and a swaddle. It’s just so freakin hot. I hope you have better luck with pnp.

I tried to make that transition last week and this baby said “are you insane? No thank you I absolutely will not sleep on that ridiculous flat surface.” So here we are.😬 I’ll try again this week.

We are the same. DS is just over 4 months and has never slept in his crib...he sleeps in the Snoo in our room at night and for naps he sleeps in either the RNP, the Dock a Tot, or in my arms. He also takes great carseat naps if we are out. I know I need to start trying the crib more soon but I am dreading it. I tried it over the weekend and he was NOT having it- but he's also teething so I felt too bad trying to have him cry it out in there too long. I need to get serious about it soon!

We are going out of town the first two weeks in July and I would looooove to leave the RNP at home, plus she is rolling all over the place and would flip out of it if not buckled. I guess it is time to try the PNP/DockATot 😭 I think she would sleep better on her stomach anyway. Fingers crossed.
