Morning! Just got my money from the state on Saturday so I need to go to the bank then Costco. E slept horrible last night. It took over an hour each time to get her back to sleep. But she let me nap yesterday so I'm not feeling to bad. cagoldi how's the AC quotes coming along? |

tallb, did yh have a good time at the game? Man it was hot as hell out there. We left around the 7th inning. But that’s the longest my kids have ever lasted so that’s great for us. He did! Especially since they won for once, they really suck this year. Glad you guys had fun and didn't completely melt! |

inthekitty, I guess I missed it. How come you all are selling? We put in an offer on a house we love in our neighborhood. First someone else got it but apparently they weren't even close on having the funding (maybe they lied about being pre-approved?) so we got it! Once our house is sold we should have a better idea of the time frame but we'll probably move end of July or beginning of August. Maybe they are closer to funding now and will buy yours |

So funny story. The state put the money on the debit card then removed it the next day. On hold with them now. I have a 25 minute wait. God help me.

Hi Ladies! We had a nice Father's Day at the water park yesterday. I dropped the older kids off at camp this morning and went to two different stores looking for the newborn size MAM pacifiers. This was after my H went to two stores this past weekend and they were out. Must be a popular type.
I need them badly because it's the only kind small enough for Bea, and we've been dealing with some oversupply issues. Poor thing has been projectile vomiting up fountains of milk because her mother can't seem to figure out when she is actually hungry vs. comfort nursing to fall asleep. You'd think I would be prepared for this since it happens with every kid, but I forget about this newborn stuff!

Morning! Hope everyone had a good Father's Day weekend. I caught up on the weekend thread but didn't post. We had a nice weekend with my ILs; they left yesterday morning so we had most of the day for ourselves. I made a key lime pie so that was my major accomplishment  B had a swim lesson this morning at 8:25; we're doing them daily for the next two weeks. After that we came home and swam in our own pool, then went to the library and grocery store. Both kids are kind of in moods, I'm not sure if they're over-tired from this weekend or what. Hopefully we can just relax today and let them recharge. |

dapostrophe I'm pretty sure I have some MAM pacis at home that P has never used because she's been fine with Wubanubs. I'll check and let you know.

wineallthetime i saw the news about your sister's baby...congrats!! So exciting for the kids to have a cousin. My cousin's wife just had a little boy last night...a Father's Day baby  We are super happy for them (and my great aunt, I think she was beginning to think she'd never have grandchildren b/c both her boys are early 40s. She is absolutely ecstatic...sent out a family email with about a zillion exclamation points, lol.) Now just need my sister to deliver her little guy and we'll be off baby-watch for awhile!

Speaking of pacis, when do these little heathens learn to keep them in so I don't have to keep putting them back every 90 seconds? Depends on the paci & the kid. We used NUK and they seem to keep those in easier than other brands. M was 2.5 months and H was around 7-8 weeks, I think. |

I'm sure they do, but I put myself on a Prime break so they might take a week to get here. I got the last box Target had, so I have two for now. I just thought it was strange that everywhere seems to be out of that size. |

Debbie downer post ahead...
I'm 99% sure we need to put our dog down. I'm having trouble convincing MH to do it though. He doesn't want to give up on her yet, which I get, but unless these pills are miracle workers, it just needs to be over with for her. Over the weekend she pretty much stayed in her cage. MH had to carry her outside. She barely drank any water and only ate a little bit.
The 2 times she did get out of her cage her legs kept sliding out from under her and she was running into everything, like she was blind. I had to check on her a few times to make sure she was breathing.
I get that it's his "baby" but I don't want her to be in pain. Augh.

I was kind of bummed we had to 'share' it with the ILs, I only got one piece and then a tiny little leftover sliver last night. I wanted MOAR. Oh well, guess I will have to make another one! |

Those pictures of children’s in the ‘not’ cages... Heartbreaking. Some of the kids are not much bigger than our N13... not that that matters, but somehow it always hits home just that little bit harder. And don’t even get me started on the so called ‘reasons’ Trump is using to justify this.

tgrimes,I'm so sorry. When we decided to put Tino down DH had a really hard time coming around. We planned a last special morning and went and sat on the beach and fed him burgers and munchkins. He had horrible gas while we waited in the exam room, but he really had the best morning and I was happy we all had that moment. Maybe there's something he can do with her to make peace as best he can.
