Anyone have experience with Styes? Dh has one I think and it’s really irritating his eye. He also has what appears to be another one on the inside of his eye lid. They look gross.
We were going to hit the walk in after dinner but they closed at 5.

We were going to hit the walk in after dinner but they closed at 5. - I got them regularly for a few years when I was 10-12. Most go away within a day or two with hot compresses but they are annoying! There are drops for stubborn ones (even surgery) but most people never get that far. |

I haven't gotten my anything for father's day yet. I guess I'll go out in the morning when I let him sleep in. He bought the coff I'm supposed to grill him though and he's out with a friend tonight so I'll count as a win.

Meh didn't get a present over here. We signed a card and J did a cute questionnaire at school. We will prob go out for pancakes and then he's going to a baseball game with his dad (too hot for all of us to go).

Dh and I just got up. C has been up for a couple of hours watching tv. I didn’t not get Dh a gift. He didn’t get me one for Mother’s Day and usually he doesn’t and I go all out for Fathers Day and am resentful at the disparity. So I didn’t do it this year. We did go out to his restaurant pick last night and C got him a Hulk card.
Off to ninja, then the walk in for staple removal, then Target for a gift for being good for said removal, then a cookout at my parents.

GM. My kids have given mh a great Father’s Day gift of sleeping in. C just woke up now at 830 and B is still sleeping. I’m making bkfast for mh and then we’re all going to the O’s game. So I didn’t get him a physical gift (we usually don’t for mother/Father’s Day). C made him a mug at school so that counts as a tangible gift.  |

Sam picked out a card and a Star Wars picture frame last weekend. I failed to get a photo printed for the frame, and I can’t find the card anywhere and think I might have accidentally thrown it away
Basically, I’m the best wife ever.
My parents are coming over for brunch in a bit and I’m going to run out to get bagels. There’s a hallmark store across the street from the bagel place, so fingers crossed they have something decent left!

I think Z has HFM. Fml. She has spots on her hands, feet, and chin. We were letting her run outside in the yard barefoot yesterday so there is a chance it could be poison ivy or something. Who knows.
I’m going to take her to urgent care when they open. How many days out of day care is that illness?
Edit: she has spots on her butt too.

Morning! The kids and I just made H blueberry pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Later today we will head to the hardware store to pick up H's gift which he picked out (a portable fire pit) and will load and assemble himself. Where do I pick up my World's Best Wife trophy? LMK

He’s always traveling on Mother’s Day for work but SOMETHING would be nice. Then last year he wanted a new toolbox for the garage so I got him a $400 toolbox. Thinking he would remember that come Mother’s Day time...nope. Nothing. So this year I decided to not get him anything. Then he came home from the store the other day with a new smoker...so I said “happy Father’s Day”. We don’t usually make a big deal out of holidays because we pretty much get what we want when we want it...but it’s still nice sometimes to get a small surprise. And to feel appreciated. |

Nothing here. I didn't even get a card for Mother's Day and to be honest, I offered up Yankees tickets but apparently it's not fun for him with the kids at this age. I tried. Now DH is cleaning up before our parents get here for brunch while I watch the boys. I offered to swap but apparently he'd rather clean. Okay...

Also, I hear you all on the bitterness re:Mother’s Day. MH keeps getting me gifts, but completely random. This year I got a charm for the pandora bracelet I literally never wear. He keeps getting me new charms and I keep telling him I don’t wear it. Now I just say thanks and move it along.

We couldn't wait and gave Father's Day gifts Friday night (Darth Vader best dad in the Galaxy shirt, Incredibles dad shirt, and Avengers underwear). I also told him he could have my monthly massage from my membership. I was really hoping he'd say that's so nice but you use it honey. He didn't. I'm annoyed.

Morning ladies! Well I fixed a nice breakfast from things we had lying around. I got Dh a Fenway distance sign (3.444 miles from our house), a cute booklet the kids filled in and a thing to tidy up his head phones. We had fun plans, but ds has a fever. To make the day functional, the rest of the day consisted of cleaned and clearing our house (7 bin bags of junk left the house!). Dh is picking up groceries and I’m cuddling with ds, poor thing.
