Lol. We’re okay. I mean, I wish we could do more things, just the two of us. I don’t feel like we connect all the time but I think that’s pretty normal for having kids, right? RIGHT! YES, at least in my case. I feel like all our time and energy is on the kids, house, work, ect. It's really hard to think about us and our relationship. I also feel like when one of us is in the full force "let's connect" stage, the other is pissed off and annoyed about something(s), which just brings out more feelings that aren't great. This. |

tgrimes I don’t even want to put out so obviously we are in a state of co-existing right now. I didn’t even see him Monday-Thursday last week I don’t think. My in laws are taking C for 5 nights the first week of July and I’m looking forward to it but also nervous in a way about spending that much time together. I think this is all normal. Relationships ebb and flow.

Relationship stuff, I like Pete when I'm alone with him but when is that? The parenting never stops. Like when am I ever going to get this child on a regular bedtime.
And I still resent him for getting me pregnant. So that definitely doesn't help.

Hey guys, sorry to pop in with my life update during something heavy. This morning I prepped my brisket and then headed to work. DH and the girls hung at home all day (and he put the brisket in for me). Work wasn’t bad, just mostly humid. After I got home from work I watered my plants, took a shower and cleaned up the house. The ILs came over for supper and my brisket was a hit (thanks to flamingo’s recipe). I also made DH a strawberry pie (his favorite). I got him 3 shirts for Father’s Day, he wore the lion king one today. Now it’s bedtime for the girls and I can finally sit down and relax for a minute. |

Ended up get5ing overheated/dehydrated or whatever from being outside all day. Cadence and I went to the zoo, ate lunch, then went to visit my Dad. Too much for me apparently even though I tried to stay hydrated.
Ended up with a pounding headache, threw up the day's food intake and had to lay down. Cadence let me sleep for an hour and I was fine after that.
This is happening more and more lately, so I guess I need to talk to my Dr. about it.

As far as mh and I connecting....uh, we coexist as well. Better than before, at least we don't fight, but there are no date nights or romance/intimacy at all. By the time Cadence is asleep I'm too exhausted to even think of doing anything with him. Plus, bedtime has been a bitch lately so I'm annoyed by the time it's finally over.
Since he still isn't talking to his Dad, we have no babysitter.
