Morning! I'm home with all the kids this morning. H went to a car auction and I'm attempting to pick up a bit. We have a cookout later at one of his hockey buddies house, which will be our first all family outing. Other than that, I'm planning to relax outside and maybe put the kiddie pools out. I love summer.

Hi all, stunner of a summer day. Currently hanging with N while mh is in swim class. I went to spin this am and that was cathartic. MH is heading to the library later so I need to decide what to do with the kids. I'd do the zoo but highly unlikely I'd find parking. This is when we need a yard to just hang outside.

Well no berry picking but we went to the park and CFA. Everytime I get my kid a milkshake or ice cream he acts crazy after. I really can't do them anymore before nap or bedtime. I'm hoping his nap is good and we can go to the pool still

Oh my goodness. That was one of the most boring family events ever... the food wasn’t any good and the location was sooo old school. The fact that my hair was done made me a little more confident, so I was happy to have done it. Kids were exhausted and sound asleep, waiting for sushi, sipping wine and watching Great British bake off.

Home from day care’s family day at the movie. Incredible s was really cute but S got a bit scared a few times and we had to leave the theater once

Then he came in and ran into Bs room and woke him from his nap an hour early .

I yelled at him and he got upset and asked to be alone. When I went back to check on him he had fallen asleep (1st home nap in well over a year). So now we’re hanging out on the front porch with B watching the traffic. Overall a good day!

Hello. We had the end of season baseball picnic. I was nervous because DH grills all day so I had all 4 kids to watch and I caught C’s cold. Kids were excellent though. T was scared of the water slides which made my life easier and C slept through most of it. We are relaxing for a bit then heading to my sister’s to make some photo boards for grandma’s funeral.

Happy Saturday!! It was nice to wake up in my own bed this morning. Then DH brought the boys to the gym while I was at running group this morning. They apparently now love the kids' room, which is great since it gives DH a break and a chance to work out. He ran out to get some errands done so the boys and I played outside for a couple hours. Aside from a trip to the grocery store, we don't have much planned today.

That's the last time I ask my 4 year old to apply sunscreen to my back. I have red splotches all over.
We're back at the room now and we even played for a bit in the pool here.
Looks like it might rain now, so I'm glad it held off until after our beach adventure.

Hiii! We have a brief break in our busy festival weekend so i just took a shower and am laying on the bed for 20 minutes before i need to get dressed and do my hair.

Last night was the pageant (it’s a big deal here, which was so weird to me when we moved to town). Then there was an appreciation party after that and then to the hospitality room that stays open basically all night so we’ve already had a couple late nights. Oofta.

Today was a kiddy parade and the kids dressed up and we’re pretty darn cute. Now they’re with my parents and we have a dinner and party tonight.

Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow and then we’ll watch the big parade in town with my family and a few friends.

Hi girls.

Poor X got his last injection this morning. Dude and P accompanied me on a Target run. Atticus has been on his best behavior the last week (I know I just jinxed it) so I let him talk me into buying a Black Panther mask that I'm sure he'll lose interest in by tomorrow. Oh, and some kind of chocolate Batman ice cream for tonight's living room campout. Nothing else planned except calling more AC people to request estimates.

Also...hi! I didn’t have a babysitter sitter today so S went to work with me this morning. It was pretty disastrous. So we left at 11 and called it a day. Currently waiting for pizza take out. Tonight I need to make a Buffalo chicken dip and triple chocolate truffles for a cookout at work tomorrow. MH is smoking a brisket, a pork butt, and a chicken. And everyone else is bringing sides and deserts. I will probably weigh 10 lbs more tomorrow night.
