We’ve been super busy this week. Yesterday we had a garage sale and a housewarming party to go to so we got home late.
Today’s agenda is grocery shopping and hanging out with my parents/brother. It’s supposed to be nearly 100 the next 2 days so we’ll be doing lots of indoor time too.
And I have to share DS2 rolled back to belly the other night. He’s so happy he can do it instead of getting stuck half way over. But now my anxiety is high because he keeps rolling to his stomach to sleep.

Hi! Busy morning here. We started the day with an ihop trip for breakfast. Then we went to the grocery store. When we got home we put away the groceries. Then I decided to put the final coat of paint on my bathroom. Now we are getting ready for lunch. After lunch and nap we are going to my dads. My stepmom is grilling and we are bringing G’s water table to play with in the backyard. Happy Father’s Day to all the J/F18 dads!

Baby was dedicated at church today! She spit up on the stage. It hit DD2. Pretty classic. She wore the dress that my mom and every girl on that side of the family since has been baptized in. DD4 was the first to not be baptized in the Lutheran church. Somehow my mom didn’t completely freak over that. 😬

We've had a busy weekend with my parents being in town. We had to cancel our family pictures because not only was Faith sick but one of my nephews was throwing up (our photographer is pregnant and we needed to minimize contact in general) but we still had a lot going on.
Faith is pretty pathetic with her cold and her sleep has gone to shit again plus we can't swaddle anymore because she decided she is going to roll over from back to belly now. Fortunately I had a Swaddle Up on hand (those are safe to use after rolling, right?) and I put her in that. She didn't nap this morning but is now on 4 1/2 hours of her afternoon nap and no signs of stirring yet. I may way her up soon or her bedtime is going to be all jacked up.
I can't believe she is rolling over now, and it wasn't just an accident. This morning I watched her roll over, get her arm stuck under her and she took her other hand and grabbed her play mat to pull herself the rest of the way. It was super cute!

pinkcat, thanks so much for thinking of us!! I’m sorry I’ve been absent - life has been so crazy and exhausting. DS1 had his surgery June 4 and it went better than expected!!! Surgeons were able to complete the repair so unless he has a complication this will be his last surgery!!!! We still have 8 hyperbaric oxygen treatments left. It’s such a beating because it’s 1.5 hours in the car every day, plus 2.5 hours there. Baby’s schedule gets totally out of whack and it sucks nursing there. But we are sooooo close to being done forever!!! 🎉

aprilz81, I used a swaddle Up after Baby could roll for a little while but transitioned to sleep sack soon after because he seemed to get frustrated without full use of his arms. He only sleeps on his belly now.

yellow711 both of my girls have had ear infections (DD1 just got tubes in January after a ton of them) and both show the same signs. Always yellow goop in their eyes. They never tug on their ears. I guess all kids are different but that usually how I rule an ear infection out. I ended up taking J into the afterhour's clinic this morning. He doesn't have an ear infection. He still is extremely fussy and not sleeping (day or night). Now I can rule out an ear infection. So... sleep regression? Teeth? Just a bad phase? eh

I have to take both kids to a birthday party by myself shortly. It is at a trampoline park - wish me luck! I also had to solo parent at a party today too. I really don't know how single parents survive. I know! I give SO much credit to single parents.

We’ve been ramping up to hell all week with things escalating sharply Friday and still going strong tonight. The only way I can describe her neediness level is like newborn. She’s not sleeping at all during the day, nursing constantly and night sleep is bad too. She’s not crying all day but she’s very restless and I just keep feeding her because I don’t know what else to do. No teeth. No sickness. 20.5 weeks. ETA: for some perspective, I got the gas drops out tonight. I’m grasping at straws.

I have also brought out the gas drops again. Tried all the swaddle/sleep sacks we have. I put a dark sheet over the window to attempt to darken the room. Sleep - day and night- is still shit. Fussiness to the next level.
