I’m about six weeks and I was feeling pretty confident until around yesterday. Ugh. Smells are killing me. My cube is next to the kitchen. Someone heated up fish and I just about lost it. Ugh! I don’t exactly feel sick but I can’t think of any food that sounds good. Some foods sound worse than others. I feel like my stomach is empty and I need to eat but the thought of it just grossed me out!
What are you guys doing to manage? I’m only 6 weeks so I’m worried how much worse it’s going to get. 😪 I should have known I wouldn’t escape morning aka all day sickness!

I’ve been taking unisom and B6 before bed which I think is helping but who knows 🤷🏻♀️. My OB gave me an rx for phenergan (sp?), but I’m too afraid to take it. I’ve just been trying to eat whatever sounds good to me. Most of it is crap. So when I have a healthyish craving I get it immediately before it passes. And by get it, I mean I make MH get it and bring it to me bc I’m either at work or with the toddlers. I’m sorry. And it sucks. This is by far my hardest pregnancy. I’ve been feeling a bit down with Mom guilt and just feeling like shit so I feel your pain 😕.

strawberrykiki Mine is just gearing up...but if it's anything like last time I will be totally off food soon. For some reason peaches were the one thing I could always stomach all through pregnancy. I also boiled water and sliced up ginger root to put in it and sipped on that all day long. It was the only thing that helped with nausea. Honestly for me nothing stayed in my stomach after 6 weeks and it was a struggle even getting anything down in the first place. Even water. So the ginger root and peaches helped a lot.

I have been super sick the entire time. I've been taking diclegis since 6 weeks, and it basically knocks the nausea down, but I still feel like I'm going to puke for most of the day, and it gets worse when I'm close to needing another dose. I'm really hoping it eases up soon since I'm so close to 6 weeks. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have never felt anything like this level of nausea before.

On the plus side hopefully feeling sick means healthy babies! I had pizza yesterday for lunch and it was delicious. Today the thought repulses me 😞 my aversions change by the minute!

This is always me. I would buy stuff from the grocery store and by the time I got home I couldn't stand even knowing it was in the house. I waste so much money on food during pregnancy. At least because of my celiac I can't indulge most of my bad cravings...so if nothing else it keeps me healthy.

Everything sounded repulsive to me until I thought of chipotle! I had it for dinner and it was amazing! Pregnancy is so weird!

I've had Tom Yum soup the past 2 nights. Something about the lime makes my tummy feel better.

This morning I don’t feel as sick. Cue freaking out haha Don't worry. It'll come back:/ I was so worried when my breasts stopped hurting. Now a week later they are unbearable. Enjoy the nausea free days when you have them:)

I felt super sick when I got home from work. So sick I almost threw up. So I guess I just better enjoy any moments I feel normal. And I kinda wanna eat Chipotle again already lol

Threw up my dinner tonight and still am nauseous AF. I was not expecting to be sick this early on. With DD I was sick from 6-14 weeks but I’m only 4+2. Sigh 😔

The B6 and Unisom combo is definitely helping. I skipped the Unisom last night "for science" and I've felt like garbage all day. So nauseated. No puking yet *knock on wood*. So good to know. I’ll definitely be picking up both this week!

After you mentioned the combo I spent a good half hour looking up info haha I’ll call Monday and clear it with my OB then get some. Thank you for the suggestion! Sounds like it’s helped a lot of women so if the nausea is as bad in the upcoming weeks as it has been this evening I’ll for sure be picking some up.

I've been seeing a lot of recommendations for B6 and Unisom. I have my first doctor appointment on Wednesday morning so I'm going to try to wait it out until then and clear it with her first. I haven't thrown up yet, but I can't hardly eat. Everything sounds awful to me even things I used to love.

You might not have to wait all the way til Wednesday to ask. I know with my OB’s office you can call anytime with questions and one of the nurses will call you back to let you know. Maybe your doctor does something similar? With something as relatively common as the B6/Unisom rec, you could probably get it cleared pretty fast.
