How much movement are you feeling from the baby, and how far along are you?
I posted this in the check-in thread, but I am slightly nervous that the baby isn't moving more. I will feel a flutter now and then, but very little compared to DD. I will be 18 weeks tomorrow. I'm probably just being paranoid.

19w 1 day ... movement is frequent in the evenings and first thing in the morning. Definitely not as much as I felt with DS though by this point.

19w 1 day ... movement is frequent in the evenings and first thing in the morning. This is basically me at 19w2d. I started feeling identifiable movement last weekend at 18w, and I mostly feel it when I've been sitting or laying still for a long period of time.

16w4d here. Crickets except for a flutter here or there every few days. DD was an anterior placenta and I didn't get nearly as much movement feeling :-( I'll be sad if this baby is the same way.

Flutters here and there. I'm 16w4d. I can't remember what DD was like. I had an anterior with DS and didn't feel much until 30ish weeks.

The movement I feel is not regular at all. Very sporadic. I have been feeling flutters from pretty early on but as a STM, I know what they feel like. To a FTM they might not be recognizable.
Now they are more like kicks. Especially the ones straight to the belly button 😩

I have been feeling definite movement for a few weeks, and the past week and a half or so it's more recognizable kicks, but it's sporadic and mostly seems to be low. My first tri ultrasound reported an anterior placenta, so my guess is that's why I don't feel any movement in some places. It makes me nervous, but reading everything here makes me feel better.

My placenta is anterior too, and most of the movement I feel is low on the left or high on the right. I don't feel much in the middle.

I had an anterior placenta last time and didn't feel anything until about 18w or so. Nothing consistent until third tri, though I was able to feel outside bumps by about 20 or so weeks. Not surprising, she is a hellish spitfire now as a toddler.
This time my placenta is completely posterior and I've been feeling flutters for a few weeks already. I've been getting some more thumps and kicks this past week. Nothing consistent, but at this point I feel something at least every day. Some days it's one little flutter while I'm sitting or laying still. Some days I get a lot of movement over the course of the day.
ETA, I'm 17+2 today

17w2d. I started feeling movement from the outside this weekend. It's still very infrequent, only in the morning or at night when I'm laying down, and even then not every time.

I feel movement sporadically throughout the day, at 19+4. At this point, I think movement can be easily missed. I'm sorry your nervous, do you have a home Doppler you could use for reassurance?

Only in the past few days have I been confident in saying I've been feeling anything. Baby is going nuts today though! I'd say I most often feel it in the morning (when I get to work) and just after dinner. I'm 19w tomorrow.

19w+2d
I feel her a handful of times a day, sometimes it's more in the evening. It's not remotely regular. At my 16w gender scan, I got told that it might be a anterior placenta, and to ask on the 20w (tomorrow) scan. So that'll be my first question.
I feel like it's pretty on par with with I had with DS, it's hard to really remember. It just seemed like overnight his kicks just became so much harder and I was able to see them at 20ish weeks (have a video)
But I 100% felt her earlier than DS, so that's something.
I'm not going to worry about movements until 26ish weeks, if they don't have a pattern by then (especially if I do have a anterior placenta) , then I'll be monitoring her myself and then voicing my concerns.

bazi I'm 16weeks 4 days with #5 and I only feel movement once in awhile. I usually start feeling it regularly around 20 weeks. TW loss when I had my 19 week loss I felt movement all the way up to 17 then nothing. I also could not find a heartbeat on my Doppler after 18 weeks. I tried all day everyday so I knew something was wrong. Now, with 19 weeks fast approaching, when I don't feel movement I automatically assume the worst. But I remind myself it's so normal not to feel movement consistently yet, but I understand, it's hard not to worry a little. They don't recommend doing kick counts until 28 weeks so until then it's totally ok to not feel anything. Baby still has lots of room to swim around it's so little.

I don't, I was thinking about getting one. My friend who is an OB NP told me it's normal not to feel movements regularly, so I'm just trying to chill until my appt next week. I think tonight I'll lay on the couch for awhile and drink really cold water, that did the trick with DD.

I'm glad to see this thread, I was also wondering what's normal right now. I remember feeling my son all the time but of course that was in the third tri when he was popping his butt out and kicking my sides. I can go a few days without noticing movement (18 weeks) and wonder what's going on. Then the last few days I've felt him a lot more, especially after eating chocolate.

I'm 17w4d STM and all I feel are the tiniest flutters. I've just begun to convince myself that maybe it's the baby instead of gas. I have an anterior placenta as well.

16 w today and I was wondering this same thing. I maybe have felt him once or twice but then again it could have been gas. Has me a little worried, but I use our doppler daily so I know his hb is strong.

I am 18w 5d and I only feel movement now and again. I was wishing for more movement and then I remembered how DD abused the hell out of me from the inside so I'm ok with waiting

I have an anterior placenta this time too. I don't feel constant movement and haven't noticed a pattern, but I definitely feel her moving around in there each day. Usually in the evenings. I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow.

I'm 16w5d and I haven't really felt much of anything yet. I thought I might have felt some flutters a couple of weeks ago but I think it was just gas. I am trying not to stress about it too much.

So today, we had a horrible tragedy in our neighborhood, and just now I was sitting on the couch trying not to cry. This little bean somehow knew I needed a pick-me-up and started wiggling around. Thanks kiddo.

17 tomorrow. I was starting to worry about not feeling movement. I haven't really had time to just focus on it, but I think I feel some broad movement at time. I can't wait to feel more!

17w5d here and not really feeling anything. I use my doppler daily and know all is well. I did feel something on the drive to work today that felt like a kick. Hoping to start feeling more over the next few weeks. I have a posterior placenta this time.
