Hi ladies. I’m officiating a wedding in September and I just got the dress the brides want me to wear (same as the bridesmaids). It’s not a bad fit, but it’s quite low cut and I’m very busty. I’m a 36H in my usual bra, which peeks over the neckline and, in this dress, pushes my boobs together in a not particularly cute way. Any recommendations for a bra that is cut low and will hopefully separate the boob shelf? The dress:

Is that in UK or US sizing and what are your favorite bra brands?

I feel you. I was a 36H before I had a reduction. I am still a 34 E/F so not that much smaller.
It looks like this is a structured dress. My first question would be if you have tried it on w/o a bra? Just to see how it looked/ if you feel comfortable. I was able to wear my wedding gown w/o a bra (it was pretty low cut, but very tailored).
If not, I would maybe see if a seamstress can sew bra cups into the dress?
If that is a no go, I would probably look into a long line bra with a sweetheart neckline. Many manufacturers make them in large sizes, you might have to order/ try on a few though to get a good fit. I was in a wedding many years ago in which I had to wear a strapless BM dress and I think the manufacturer of the bra I bought was called glamorise? They went way up to mid alphabet if I remember.

My go to brands are Panache, Freya, and Elomi and all three carry plunge styles, which I imagine would work with that dress. Maybe get on Amazon or herroom(free returns!) and order several styles/brands to try?

helenahhandbasket sewing in cups might work, that’s plan b. It’s structured so that there is support coming from the bottom, but then it mashes everything together from the sides. I’m hoping a bra can give me separation elle I didn’t realize they had a plunge, I’ll definitely try that first. Thanks!

Another option might be to use those giant sticker bras. I'm a 34 H (so a little smaller) but I've had success if the dress is more structured and the fabric is thicker. I'd do a search on Amazon for your size and plunge bra to see what has free returns and just buy a bunch to try.

So you say your current bra does not separate and give a nice shape?
Is the bridge sitting flat on your bra? This could be a fit issue as well. For years I didn't have a small enough band for the bridge to sit right.
I'd measure, read the reviews on her room on fit and order at least 2 bras in a style.
And you may want to get some fashion tape to make sure everything stays in place.
Or as a previous person mentioned, work with a seamstress to get support sewn right into the dress.

You are right, fit is probably part of the issue. I’m currently breastfeeding, so my bra fit changes daily (or hourly). I’m going to order some bras to see how they do with the dress, then reassess fit a few weeks before the wedding to see if the bra still looks right.
