She STTN 9:30-7:30 two nights in a row so FX that means her reflux is settling a bit. She fussed a few hours beforehand but we're not having hours long screamfests the last handful of days. That’s awesome! My 2.5 year old still doesn’t do that. |

Did I tell you guys that at the end of the wedding they handed out bacon egg and cheese sandwiches from one of the local delis? I've been to weddings where they've done paper cones of french fries, little sliders, and ice creams. We did little bite sized desserts and candy bags to ho, but a bacon, egg and cheese just sounds genius after you've been drinking since six. I was so sad to miss the end of it! That IS genius! My parents were at a wedding in November where they did chicken biscuits from CFA, so kind of similar concept. I will take any and all food at the end of a wedding reception but breakfast sounds like an especially great idea. eta: also, I wouldn't worry about the iPads and your cousin's comment another second. I am generally not a fan of iPads but even I wouldn't hesitate to use them in a situation like that. It is SO hard to have kids at adult functions so if that buys you some peace and quiet after a long, busy day or weekend, then you do what you gotta do. You're a fantastic mom and your kids are just fine. |

Hi, I'm alive. Today Trav and Ev had their first day of summer camp, so we had to get all 4 little ones out the door to be there at 9. It did not go well. Mostly because my H thought he could have a leisurely morning and hop in the shower at 8. I am sleep deprived, so you can imagine how well that went over. My H is usually awesome about the morning routine, and I'm sure he's worn out...but seriously, I don't understand how he doesn't seem to grasp the concept of time. If you hop in the shower at 8 and it takes you 20 minutes to get ready and we have 4 kids to dress, feed, and two lunches to make, towels to pack, sunscreen to slather, and we need to herd everyone into the car to get to a summer camp 20 minutes away by 9 am...YOU DO THE MATH, H!!!
Lord help us 🙄

jewels No, i either need to give him Motrin and send him on his way or bring him to our retreat, which won’t go over well. lahdeedah I can’t get O to rinse with the nystatin. It’s yellow and creamy. I think it’s a tutti fruity flavor but he cried and started to gag before he even smelt it. How often did you guys do it? And how long before it worked? His tongue is pretty white... I'm sorry. M had to do it 3x a day. The nurse told me to have in swish it around for 2-3 min, but ha ha with a 4yo. So we got 30sec to a minute at best and he willingly did it to my surprise. After 24-48 hours of 3x a day, his tongue was no longer white, but we continued to do it for 7-10 days because I knew it could come back. |

How is he able to live in so many states with so many families? Turns out I'm married to the same man too! Saturday we needed to leave at 1:00. None of us were dressed and nothing packed up and MH took a shower and got ready from 12:30-12:55 after he'd already been gone working out. Don't worry, H, I'll get everyone and myself ready. You just take your sweet time. |

ETA: I see I can get it for $15 on vudu. Is it worth it to buy the more expensive digital copies? I guess the HDX or whatever?

Just got off the phone with B's Dr office. He was on iron supplements for 3 months (March-May), and his numbers went up only one point. So we are upping the does and back on for 3 months. The good thing is that all the other tests came back good, so we are just dealing with iron deficiency.
I chatted with B a lot about this past weekend and now he is obsessed with the iron content with everything that he eats, and is seemingly understanding the role iron takes in his health, him feeling tired etc, so he seems on board. Such a mature little guy.

It was like $5 or something. My DC is doing a "Family Day" on Saturday and rented out a local movie theater for the showing. We are taking S and he is super excited so I wanted to show him the first one too. It's pretty cute. |

This morning for example, we were in the car and ready to go to daycare BEFORE DAYCARE EVEN OPENED, so I took the kids on a tour of a new neighbourhood I'm eyeing in case we decide to build. The kids thought it was hilarious and B was insistent that he doesnt want a new house. |

vino for some reason S is obsessed with the idea of moving. I have no idea why... we've lived in our house since before he was born so he's never moved. But at least twice per week he asks me when we are going to move, what kind of house we are going to buy, if we are going to hire someone with a big truck to come take our stuff to the new house, etc. It's a weird obsession. Also randomly when we are driving he will point to a house and ask if we can move to that one.

M was ready to burn our house down when she saw the random lizard that is apparently still in our house. MH had it by the tail and the little sucker slipped away.
It ran underneath the stove so M said we need a new one. And a new fridge because she first saw it peaking its head out from under it.

tgrimes, I don't blame her. I'm still ready to burn the house down from the bee incident last week! flamingo and others who like to shop/decorate, I am stumped. MH and I upgraded to a king mattress when S was a baby, and still haven't bought a headboard/frame or anything for it yet. Last year we decided for our anniversary we were going to buy one and we still haven't found one. Our style is Mission/Craftsman style (We both love Stickley and things like that). Any ideas? I keep finding stuff on line, but I am scared of buying furniture that I can't touch and see first. So bonus if it's from either a brick and mortar store or one you have purchased from before! Thoughts?

J is all into open houses... I didn't realize it until we we're at my friend's house yesterday and he basically led himself on a tour of the entire place! He wanted to check out ever closet and hiding spot, I was mortified.
