tallb so sorry for that poor family. I also missed (if you ever shared) what happened to him but regardless, it really stinks that his family was left in bad shape financially. I’ve heard similar horror stories from/about fellow Navy families and it makes a sudden tragedy like that even worse.

They probably have him on a stronger dose because he also has the EI.

Hi! Kids are dry, snacking and relatively quiet after several hours in the pool. My friend brought her two kids over to swim and we popped a bottle of rosé champagne like the good moms that we are now just waiting to put in our pizza order.

slenle Did you use any siding or outdoor soap? If so, was it with the pressure washer?

Yes, dh bought some siding soap that hooked up to the pressure washer. We sprayed that on, have it a quick scrub with a brush and then pressure washed without the soap. Worked pretty good! I have no idea when the house was last washed and we’ve been here 3 years... it was definitely time!

Yes! I used this one all of S’s first 2 summers. It works great and I never was concerned the fabric would slip through the rings.

ETA: M had to take 7.5 ml of amoxicillin. It may be weight based? Not sure, but I think M weighed a little over 35lbs that day.

I don't either. I feel like their marketing team should be fired. It reminds me of "New Coke" in the 80s. 

OTOH...maybe this is just to get everyone talking about IHOP and then they'll come out and be like, "Juuuuuuust kidding, we're keeping the P". Which in that case, it's kind of brilliant (if it drives traffic/increases sales)

snoopmommymom if he is feeling decent tomorrow then I'd totally send him Tues. Abx typically kick in after 24 hours. Granted I know nothing about thrush, but for EI and strep I think that'd be reasonable if fever is down tomorrow. Fingers crossed, always the worst timing isn't it?

I’ve done it twice, once in November and a month ago. I did it for the same reason that you want, the “11’s”, I am so self conscious about squinting all the time and it looks awful.

Honestly, I dont love the feeling but I know that it was going to feel different because it’s paralyzing the muslces which, in turn because of less and less use, minimizes the lines.

It can last 3-6 months, mine is stellar for about 2 months. But I’ve decided that I will continue and go about every 3 months, generally they tell you to come back as soon as you are able to squint and move the muscles fully again.

I go to a medical Dr that keeps her rounds in the hospital and has the medical spa business as well.

vino the woman that i went to a consultation with is an advanced nurse and Botox is what she does for a living. She suggested 30 units to put a little on my forehead too. 30 sounds like a lot to me. Do you know how much you got each time?

My appointment is Thursday but i think I’m going to cancel and wait until later in the summer. My skin is such a wreck right now in general so i think I’m going to do some facials or peels first before trying Botox. Why spend all that money to smooth out wrinkles but leave all the pimples. Kwim?

snoopmommymom I’m sure I get 20 units just for my 11’s, if she was going to do your forehead as well, I’d think that would be a good estimate.

I totally understand about looking for alternatives but with the 11’s they are there because of the overuse of the muscle, so although some facials etc may smooth it out it wont have close to the same result as botox.

Whatever you choose though I’m sure you’ll feel more confident which is the most important. Good luck and keep me posted if you find something that ls awesome, I’ll be a sheep and follow along 😉
