snoopmommymom I'm so sorry about O. Hopefully the medicine will kick in quickly. Is there anyone nearby to help you? My friends all work and have their own kids and my babysitter works durning the day at Z’s school. I guess if he really can’t go to school on Tuesday i could maybe beg her to take a sick day and pay her to stay with him. It’s Ramadan though and she’s fasting so i haven’t asked her to babysit during her holy month.

snoopmommymom does your work or your H's work have a backup care program? Ours is called LifeCare but there are other ones. Maybe look into that. It's been a life savor for us. It allows us up to 15 times a year to have a nanny type person come to our house when DC or school is closed. They watch LO for up to 12 hours even if sick (you do have to tell them if the child is sick). My H's company doesn't have it. Just something to look into.

I work for a small non-profit that didn’t have health insurance or a way to pay people twice a month until i was hired and set it all up for them. Lol.

No worries, and thank you!! I was liking the halter myself (great reviews—sounds like the miracle swimsuit) so now that I have your blessing I might give it a try. Now to decide on the red or blue... I ordered the red on sale and the black at the regular price. Received both and the red was HORRIBLE, definitely not the red in the picture IMO. I kept it because it was cheaper than sending it back, but it’s a back up, at best. I’m trying to figure out what the colour is, I’d probably put it in the ‘orange/red’ family rather than a true poppy like red. If that makes sense. Eta: lol to me trying to describe colours to our resident interior designer.

Hi! I just spent over 3 hours power washing the back of the house and the patio. My hands feel numb. Our patio looks sooo much better and I can wait until dh finishes my table to add too it. I was covered in mud from head to toe so I took a long shower and am now eating lunch while the kids nap. I really need to get to the grocery store at some point and i told N we coils go non a bike ride later but I have no motivation now.
It’s going to be a busy week. It’s our town’s festival week that is put on by an organization we are in so we have stuff going on every night except Tuesday and Wednesday. We work hard to put on the events during the days and then we stay up way too late having fun from Thursday- Sunday so I need to mentally prepare. Lol.

So this just happened. My mom FaceTime-d me from the Discovery Center and showed me who they bumped into. cagoldi and family. It was too funny. I'm sure LO and A are having a blast. It was also funny because I had just finished bf-ing E and was totally a mess. LOL I was glowing like a neon light with all the sunscreen I had on. Surprised i didn't blind you. I talked to your mom for about 20 minutes. Your parents are so sweet. It's funny, because yesterday at Adventure Playground and this morning as we pulled up to park, Dude asked if L would be there. I said no, then we walked outside and there he was! I have been thinking we need to drag him out with us somewhere so you can catch a break but I only have room for my own brood in the car.

FIL made the coolest thing for the boys. It has a telescope and a sound machine that makes wave noises, and a little cannon that shoots limes.

Checking in but I will probably be taking a power nap. I have been so tired this weekend! Yesterday I blamed it on running but I skipped running to sleep in this morning, and I am still exhausted. This does not bode well for spending 2 days in straight meetings, all mixed up from time zone changes.
Anyhow we ran errands this morning and had our first lunch of the season on the covered patio of one of our favorite restaurants. It's about as relaxing as a lunch out with kids can be. Then DH and Colin baked banana muffins together. I was upstairs folding laundry and listening to them - it was freaking adorable.

X, Pete, and Poppy are napping inside. I'm in the front playing pirates with Dude.
Once everyone is up and has finished lunch/snacks/bottles we're going to the splash pad.
Then IHOP for dinner because Dude has been asking for their funny face pancakes.

A and my dad finished the gravel around the footers this morning and we all went to lunch and Home depot. I'm trying to get A to let me trade in the lawn mower my parents gave us for a zero turn. I hope he agrees soon. I'm cleaning the house, doing laundry and getting some work done. The boys are playing in the rain. My driver from Zimbabwe had to go back home for a week. He just landed and called me from the air port to see if he could come bring me what he bought me and the boys. He's so sweet.

Sorry O is still feeling so bad snoopmommymom. I’m guessing it was too early to turn the rapid test positive on Friday, poor guy.

That stinks snoop but I’m glad he’s doses up. Why did they say Wednesday? The general rule for antibiotics is 24hrs? And kids get thrush? I don’t even really know what that is but I remember you having a horrible time with Z having it.

C did not nap despite ninja class and an hour at the trampoline park where he ran into a school friend and played extra hard. Early bedtime tonight. I might suggest we watch Black Panther soon to pass the time.

snoopmommymom Poor guy. M had strep a few weeks ago accompanied by thrush. The thrush was the first thing that clued me in to thinking strep. Hope he starts feeling better soon. tallb I’m sorry. Did you ever find out what happened to the guy? I need to check our life insurance policies ASAP.

Just got back from a few stores. Our TRU was pretty empty, well, emptied of the good stuff. All the baby stuff was gone and I only got M one gift for later this year. I did stock up on batteries and crayola activities.
MH will be taking M to swim later and I’m hoping M2 will nap while they are out so I can have some quiet time to myself.

I don’t even really know what that is but I remember you having a horrible time with Z having it. I saw the white tongue as a symptom of strep, so i didn’t think it was an extra diagnosis. A guy i work with had thrush, so i guess people get it.

I’m not sure if i mentioned this, but O’s amoxicillin prescription is 10.6ml’s of medicine. I had his old bottle in the fridge from last time he had strep and he had half that amount. I hope they aren’t giving him too much. I asked at the pharmacy if the amount was correct and he said yes. It just seems like a lot, especially since a month or two ago he was prescribed half that.

Morning friends. I just got back from dropping dh off at the airport. This is a short trip by I’m bummed he had to leave on a Sunday. We are headed to a pool party for landons baseball team in a bit, so hopefully that tires them out and the go to bed easy/early tonight. snoopmommymom boo, I hope he feels better! Random question: has anyone here ever used a watersling? Considering how much time we spend at the pool I’m wondering if it would make my life easier.

Maybe I will do the bright blue. I avoid black suits bc I get too hot, and I have other navy suits, and bleh to gray.
