I’m garage sale prepping all day with my friend. We are having a sale tomorrow. TONS of kids crap. Took a break to meet with Sunny41 for lunch! My kids put on quite a show acting horrendously, because of course they did! 💆🏼♀️ Other than that it was great to meet up! |

Did I tell you guys about the lump in my neck? I can’t remember.
Anyway I had he Dr look at it at my annual today and he was super concerned and ordered a chest X-ray and Ct scan stat. So I did those this morning and have been waiting all day for results. They came back clear and the only thing lighting up is the lump which is a 1.2cm lymph node near my clavical. Since nothing else was shown he said it’s less likely lymphoma and most likely a reactive node but he wants a biopsy. So I won’t hear until next week if it will be a needle biopsy or a removal of the node.
I’ve been worrying about it for a couple of weeks because of Dr Google and I feel better now that imaging came back normal but I still have a pit in my stomach.

Worst decision ever, I left within a couple days. Nothing but doom and gloom and people complaining and me feeling paranoid that every twinge means I'm going to be bedridden next week. Nope nope nope. wedding I'm sorry you've been worried, that pit-in-the-stomach feeling is the worst. I hope the biopsy will be a breeze and will come back all clear. Glad round 1 was normal. |

wedding That's a lot. I'm glad that the Dr acted immediately and that the results came back good, hopefully you get a call and get part 2 over with to ease your mind and that pit in the stomach feeling.

So it's all very last minute, but I'm flying out to a 2 day meeting at one of our partner's biggest clients. Let's just say I'll be staying in Silicon Valley at a rather famous campus. I'm both excited and terrified. Excited to see this place and help get a huge deal off the ground. And terrified because what if I mess it all up single-handedly? Also I have to fly in Tuesday evening and take the red eye on Thursday night so I can be at Colin's pre-k graduation on Friday morning. Ouch.
Speaking of, I had my year-end conference with his teacher last night and she RAVED about his progress. She also said she was relieved we were pushing him through because she was sure he'd be bored with another year of pre-K and because she thinks he thrives with kids a bit older and more mature. We've already made our decision but it was such a relief to hear her basically confirm that we're doing the right thing. Not that I won't question it forEVER because I'm a Mom and I'm pretty sure it's in the job description.
Anyhow I think we're going to a baseball game in Danbury tonight - I think it's one of those summer college leagues? Then tomorrow is Colin's last t-ball game and we're hoping a trophy, his team pictures and some ice cream will keep him from totally losing it. He's so sad the season's over.

Fwp- I have had the worst luck ordering online the past couple of weeks!
First, I ordered a frame from Michaels because I had been searching everywhere for an 18x18 frame. It got lost in shipment so they are sending a new one.
Then, I ordered a dress for an event next weekend and ordered 2 sizes to be safe. They came yesterday and omg, it was the worst dress ever. Both sizes fit horribly. Too big on top and tight in the hips. Just awful.
THEN, the swim top I ordered from athleta came today, only I received a sweater from BR instead! Wtf?! And now they are out of stock but they were able to find it in store so i will hopefully still be getting it.
The universe is telling me to quit shopping.

It's been a busy day. We had M2's recheck this morning for his ears. I somehow forgot his bottle at the office when I left. I thought MH was getting off early, but like usual, he hasn't. My dad is driving in for a weekend visit and MH was supposed to go home early to pick up a bit. Good news is that I'm scanning my last patient and will be out of here real soon. Let the weekend begin.

I debated going back and editing that post b/c I didn't want to seem AW but then I got distracted by my beer  I think I caught it about as early as possible and I'm already on meds for my psoriasis that can control it so things are fine. (This all goes back to when I had the 'sprained ankle' that actually turned out to NOT be a sprained ankle.) |

Just got home after a whirlwind 48hrs. So fun to meetup with sands42. Gunner e's shy at first but then let me pick him up so he could get a silly pic with his head in a burger. I'm glad we could meet up before she moves to FL!   That’s a kind way to put Gunner’s behavior Sunny41... 😂😭 I wish I could have hosted you guys at our house instead.
