Fantastic Friday (Finally!!!)

Very sad and shocked when i heard about Anthony Bourdain today. You have to wonder if he heard the news about Kate Spade and if it had any influence in his decision to take his own life.


Update on O: Fever was 103 at the dr and strep test came back negative so i guess we are riding out a virus.

And the dr did a new strep test where we had to wait a half hour for the results. I went home and they called us, but used to be minutes.

Yes, very sad about Anthony Bourdain. I didn’t watch his show regularly but I just hate seeing things like this. Kate Spade, too. It always seems like celebrities go in 3’s, I’m kind of waiting for the next one ☹️

It already happened.  The Dutch queen's sister committed suicide this week, as well.

A year ago today I got the shock of my life when I poas and realized I was pregnant with C!!! Crazy.

Yes, he loved everything and was really appreciative. He was here for the better part of an hour--walked around the property with my H pointing out some things (for example, we have a well in addition to city water...had no clue), went over the irrigation and pool systems in case we had questions, and asked us for anything we might be having issues with or that we felt like needed repair/maintenance. We're still going to utilize the property manager as the 'official' go between but we exchanged contact info and he wants us to stay in touch. I think he wants the house to be well-maintained as much as we do, since they plan to come back here at some point.

I had a dream/nightmare last night that I was pregnant with twins. I love twins for other people but I would not choose to have them myself. I think all these pregnancies/babies are getting to me, lol. Still not planning to TTC until November.

Good morning Ladies! I am just now getting my day started. H took everyone to the gym daycare and went to go do some grocery shopping. Miss Bea was alert and cheerful this morning, which was a welcome relief after her screamfest last night 😳 She really, really wanted to nurse so my attempt at pumping did not go over. I just need a tiny break so these nips can heal! I ended up giving in so we could all get some rest, but I am paying for it. Ouch.

My sister came over yesterday to help with her three kids. It was a big help and the kids all had a blast but now my house is a disaster and I am forcing myself to refrain from cleaning it.

Oh! S/o pumping...I ended up getting the Spectra and so far I really like it. Just a PSA for anyone who may need to get one in the future.

Just finished hauling a screaming newborn on errands. Our house is basically unusable through at least Tuesday so trying to do so much as even get the boys ready for school was nightmarish.

I'm going to head to the gym in a bit. FX Miss P cooperates long enough for me to get in a decent workout and shower.

There’s a beautiful bike path through my town and others on the coast line. I’ve never been able to do it because it’s crowded on the weekend and C wouldn’t be able to manage it nor does he let me do it myself. So I just went and the part I was going on closed for construction. I still did 6 miles on the road but it wasn’t what I had envisioned.
